Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Great hotel very near to metrostation Oika Karasuma. Nice big room with comfortable beds and everything you will need. Every day there is cleaning and tea and water provided. The breakfast was nice and fresh with traditional japaneese dishes.

United StatesIt is 1 minute walk from the train station. Few restaurants, grocery stores within short walking distance. They have great skincare and bath products, especially the scented bath bombs. It was nice to use the bath bombs to soak after a long day of walking around. It's a short train ride to get to Kyoto station for day trips.

Quiet, clean, good sized rooms, within metres walk to Karasuma Oike station. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast has a variety of Japanese and Western style choices. Great restaurants close by, as well as 7/11, Familymart , and Lawsons. 15 min walk to the amazing Teramachi shopping district, 20 min walk to Gion. Close to Nijo temple and the Imperial Gardens. A definite gem of an accommodation.

Breakfast was good, the staff managing the breakfast room were lovely and welcoming. There is a coffee machine in the lobby and guests are able to help themselves to coffee whenever they wanted. Staff were happy to draw maps to help us find certain places. communication was good as most of the staff spoke English. Very close to the train station. The room was comfortable.
