Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceThere's too much light in the early morning as the door giving to the East has windows. They are covered with paper for privacy but it doesn't block the light for the morning sun. Also the toilets and shower are shared.
The room was nice and the kitchen was spacious. The bed was also pretty comfortable. The area is not very touristic but very nice, lots of bars and restaurants between the house and the station!

BelarusWITH SACH A KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SACH A DISRESPECT FOR GUESTS, THIS PROPERTY SHOULD NOT BE ON LIST OF BOOKING.COM. BE WARNED!!! My reservation number #4979466979 for 26 to 27 November 2024, right after reservation I informed to the owner of the apartment that We are arriving late evening, our train arrives at 20:30 at Kita Senju Station, so we will be at the hotel around of 21:00 & If he needs to contact with me, he can call me but only by whatsapp or telegram or viber to number of my phone or by email. We arrived to the address of reserved room, but it was closed & nobody answers on my calls. Just to explain in details how it was. I have made an order at 18:15 at 26 of November, 2024. At 18:25 i wrote direct to the owner a massage that i am coming to the place around of 21:00. At 21:15 we arrived the the place & start looking for the owner & note him a massages that i am at the place & can not reach him. But i did't get any answer. I called to the phone number which was in system of booking.com several times & ringed to the bell of main door, but was no answer from him. I could not stay outside, under the rain & wait for him anymore. I was there almost 2 hours waiting for him, but no one respond. I did not have any other choice to search for another hotel & reserved the hotel on another place. Only after midnight, at 00:36 the owner deigned to write me the code to enter the building and the room and did not even apologize for what he did!!! I demand an urgent refund of the funds that I paid in double amount, for such an unworthy and unprofessional service, for all my inconveniences, moral damages and expenses that I incurred for transportation. It is very wrong what the owner have done & how he take care for his guests. I never had such service before. I ask booking.com support to take all necessary measures and punish this owner so that this does not happen again to anyone in the future.

Owner is always kind and problem solution oriented. she was able to arrange whatever we need for example kettle, iron etc. and she allowed us to check in early to check out late :) thank her to her understanding and good hospitality.
