I was lucky to book this hotel when the rates were low, but sometimes the prices can be very high; in the latter case I would recommend looking for better deals elsewhere. Also, it would've been nice to see the view from my room but many hotels in Japan, including this one, had heavy blurred translucent windows.

Just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, the hotel is a wonderful space for a solo traveller. The sunlight coming into the room was superb, and all of the amenities within the room-- including a kitchenette, in-room washer and dryer, and a proper desk area-- made it feel like a small apartment area. It was a joy to stay in a room that felt so homey and cozy.

Great location , easy 10-12 minute stroll from Kyoto station . Staff were very attentive and made checking in easy . Room is perfect size for two people with everything you need in a quiet area that’s still close to the station and food / convenient stores

The bed was uncomfortable. I could feel springs poking through the mattress.

The room was small, but did not feel small with the kitchenette, washer/dryer, fridge, and desk. It was also well equipped for everything you would need for a short or even longer stay. The location was close to Kyoto St. Overall, I would stay again.

Bed is a thinner spring mattress that was alright but could hit the wrong spots with the springs. 30 min walk to get to large shopping districts and markets.

Quite close to Kyoto station, large temples, and a few bus stops. Has everything you'd need in the room! Has fridge, humidifier, ac, laundry in unit, bath, table, etc.

The room doesn’t sound proof, I heard the steps above us some nights. I have to separate the trash before dispose , it good to learn how to but it makes me feel a little bit pressure that I will do wrong🥲 Not 24 front desk, can’t leave the luggage when you check out.

Only major complaint is the wifi was sometimes very slow (I stayed in room 22). Another minor complaint was the TV is quite small but this is no issue at all. Another thing to look out for is you can't leave your bags there once you check out or if you arrive early before your check in time

It was spacious and good. Had everything you needed. I honestly never knew how good having a washing machine in your room would be until I experienced it here. Everything was great.

Never seen such a big manual for a stay at a hotel. We had to check it several times just to understand their trash sorting system. I know Kyoto takes their trash very seriously, but it was a bit much .. I mean it was like 40 pages manual ..

Location is good ,very close to Kyoto station . Washing machine is the biggest plus .

For me it was not an issue, but it may feel slightly cramped for two people.

This was one of my favourite accommodations in Japan, in what ended up to be my favourite city in Japan. :) The location is great, in a very quiet part of the city, but within walking distance (about 10-15’) to restaurants and bus stations. The room is equipped with everything you may need, including a washing machine! I thought that was extremely convenient. There is also a kitchenette that includes a microwave. Oh, there is a large mirror on the wall too, very handy. The bed was comfy, and big enough for 2 people. The balcony in my room (on 3rd floor) had nice views of the city.

Spaces in some corners were to tight. Garbage recycling is a nightmare. I don't mind the cleaning of the room, but for that price they could clean it everyday. Also the reception being at the entrance and only from 2 to 9. So you can't check in before 2 (actually the check in is at 4pm which I think is crazy!)

Apartament was small but cousy, I liked the wash machine with the cleaning products and bed very comfortable.
