Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesUnlike other hotels in Japan, the breakfast was a set menu rather than a buffet. The food was okay, but not great. It was clear that the dining room would not have accommodated a buffet so I'm not sure that could be changed.
This hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of major sights in Sapporo. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was a nice size and was clean and well decorated.

ThailandA typical short term stay place in Japan. room is quite small. There isn’t a whole lot of place to put your luggage.
Great location. It’s close to coffee shop, minimart, and a mere walking distance to the Sapporo train station. Also it’s a 15 mins walk to Susukino. or you can take the train from entrance 20 which is a block away.

JapanOne thing to note is that there isn’t a bathtub in the room. However, I personally preferred using the common bath area.
The hotel seems quite new, which is immediately noticeable in the spacious layout and interior modern design. The furniture is stylish and well-chosen, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The lighting throughout the hotel room adds a warm touch that enhances the overall ambiance.

ThailandBreakfast can be monotonous if you stay there for more than 2 nights. There are 2 sets to choose from. It’s delicious though.
I love how convenient and quiet it is. The common areas are nice, lounge, public bath. There are more pillows for you to add as well.

SingaporeVery clean and comfortable stay. The room was pretty big for Japan standards. Onsen was also very comfortable. I also appreciate they had a pillow library where you could try 10 different types of pillows. I like the pillows so much I wish they were for purchase. Got really good sleep on them! Its about 10 min walk from JR station but you can enter the underground from one of the exits just 3 min walk away

United StatesThey only gave one toothbrush during my stay, and so I ran out of toothpaste on the third day.
Very clean, and the check-in and checkout process was very easy. It’s easy to get to the underground subway that is about two blocks away. This was very helpful when it started snowing heavily outside. The laundry facility on the second floor is very easy to access, and the Hot spring on the second floor was also very nice. The included breakfast was somewhat underwhelming since it was a few pieces of toast, potato salad, and a pastry, but the staff was very nice.

MalaysiaRoom is quite compact and our room is facing the back of other building.
About 10 mins walk from the main train station, in the city centre. ODori park is just around the corner. Kind and helpful staff, check in and out is smooth. You can choose pillow of your own choice at the lobby, however choices run out fast. There’s in house onsen as well.

BruneiSmall room for 2 person. A bit difficult for us to do our prayers but we managed.
The staffs are helpful. When I contacted them about Halal restaurants, they provided me with a list which I really appreciate. Every time I came down to the lobby or get back from my walk, they never missed to greet. The location is acceptable. It is near Sapporo station which is 10-15mins walk, nearby Halal restaurants such as Sapporo Ichiryuan. Had a good walk to the Odori Park which is 10mins walk. We even go to Nijo Market which is few metres away from the Sapporo TV tower. Room Quite small. Separate toilet and shower. Have a separate sink in the room. Have all the amenities you need. They even provide lotion in the lobby which you can take for free and the lotion is so good on my skin during the cold weather. They provide water bottles everyday which I really appreciate. Lounge Their lounge have laundromat, vending machine, microwave, coffee machine and onsen. The lounge also have a great view which I find relaxing.
