Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States1000 check out and stiff beds.
Close proximity to train station and good location to start your day exploring. Pictures shown on hotel’s website very accurate from cable locks & lockers for leaving your bags if you arrive early to breakfast pictures. Oh and don’t be alarmed @ the room overlooking the train tracks as it could have been my room and couldn’t hear anything from the train.

United KingdomThe room is clean but it’s a bit old . And the nearby area there is very quiet at night time and no restaurant / food shop (I arrive there around 2300-2400).
Very close to Sapporo JR station and there is a Lawson downstair , can grab sth to eat from the convenience store . They offer extra different pillow for guest to choose which is quite impressive . And the breakfast is good , I like they provide soup to eat with bread. The self service luggage storage is also very convenient.

TaiwanIt is right next to the new Shinkanshan construction and existing railways. If one is really sensative to noise, it could be a problem. Every room does have a sliding door to cover the entire window and reduce negative impacts from train and construction noise.
Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Serving time starting from 6:30 am was convenient for me since I started my day trip early in the morning. Location is excellent. It took me only five minutes to walk to the Sapporo train and bus stations. Staffs were nice, friendly and helpful. Ms. Tokuta helped me secure a reservation at the only Michelin three-star French restaurant in Sapporo, Moliere. Without her assistance, I wouldn't have such a great dining experience. I had stayed a total of nine nights and was very satisfied with the JR Inn. If I visit Sapporo again, JR Inn in Sapporo station will be my first choice.

SingaporeNothing.
The complimentary breakfast was rather basic. But it's greatly appreciated as it settled my morning meal before I go out and start my day. It would have been better if there were varieties or differences in the menu but overall, it was alright.

AustriaWindow cannot be opened, but that seems to be the case in most places.
Directly next to the train station, although I did get lost the first time and walked around for a bit. Room small but clean, all the amenities you need are available in the lobby. Breakfast was okay, but no need to book this.

NetherlandsThe breakfast was a quite basic Western-style meal. I would have preferred a bit more options, but it was still good to start my day.
The location was really great. It takes only around five minutes to reach Sapporo station. It is also close to the centre, therefore, access to food and sights is easy and quick. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

PhilippinesI like the size of the room but the bathroom shower space is a bit small for a petite Asian like me. Breakfast options are the same for the entire duration of my stay (diff kinds bread, boiled egg, potato salad, soup, yogurt, and drinks).
The staff are really helpful and some of them can speak a bit of English. They always greet you with a smile whenever passing by and would go out of their way to help. The hotel is close to Sapporo Station about 8-min walk.
