I booked the 4 x bunk bed room not realising they were futon beds. These were very hard for an Aussie family !

The beds were quite firm.

The family room was perfect for our family room of 6. Everyone had their own bed and space to spread out in the lounge area. I liked the extra bathroom and shower room facilities that were able to access as part of the family room. There was a good vibe on the night we arrived with guests in the restaurant.

Right in the heart of dontonburi, breakfast was lovely with a choice of options if you are staying longer that a night. Staff were helpful :)

Some drunk guys on the street near-by, solo-ladies must care about the security.

The hotel was located at the small street, just walking distance to shopping areas, subway and 南海電鐵. Young design with Japanese style decoration, room was clean and comfortable, the Japanese breakfast box surprised me.

This place is a bit larger than the sort of place we typically stay and I found that to lead to a bit of a less personal engagement with staff. For example, we were charged for early arrival (1.5 hrs) even though the room was clearly there and ready. They advertise a "free drink" at check-in. We checked in twice and were not offered this either time. No coffee or tea was available in the room (but it was free downstairs in the lobby), that sort of thing.

This place is in an excellent location and has a "cool, hip" look to it. The rooms (we stayed in two different rooms, selecting Japanese style) were quite small in size but very clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds and the traditional (what we call) "bean pillows" (no idea what they are actually filled with but, I like them). Breakfast was ok we're vegetarian so we just ignored the meat that came with it.

Wifi was a little slow.

We like the location, and it was very convenient to go to kansai airport to and from. The staff was super nice. The room was a little small, but it was ok for us. We will stay again next time.

Location was fantastic. There were lots of restaurants and shops in the walking distance. The hotel building looked really cute from outside although the rooms were old and tiny. The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed the stay.

A note here about the lack of hypoallergenic options - something to note to reach out to them far in advance if you have a specific need. Additionally, the room was really tiny...the smallest of our entire stay in East/South East Asia. But that said, if you don't plan to do much more than sleep in that space, it's a great option to stay in the heart of Osaka.

This is a great, centrally located spot to stay in Osaka. While we were only there for one night, we were able to walk to many of the sights easily from the hostel, as well as bars, restaurants and great nightlife. I have an allergy to feathers and while the staff did not have any hypoallergenic options available, the staff did "make" a pillow for me out of a blanket and a pillowcase and brought up extra blankets for me to make sure I was comfortable.

It is clean and hot water is there 24 hours. Just the room is a bit crowded. And it takes a bit of walking to railway station. But the walk distance is acceptable. Staff are nice.

Honestly one of our favourite stays in Japan. Has a minimal design, room was clean + was enough for what you need. Hotel was nicely located near main attractions - Dotonbori, Kuromon Market + walking distance to Namba Station.
