Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room is very small. The restroom uses a shower curtain that needs to be replaced.
Hotel gave out new towels every morning and plenty of amenities.

South KoreaThere were a few weird quirks (like the auto spin-back faucet knob), but nothing major that was upsetting to my stay.
The location was great; within walking distance of the subway and Dotonbori. The staff was friendly and the hotel had a lively atmosphere without being too noisy/busy.

AustraliaThe room was a little smaller than what the photos made it out to be, however knowing it was bigger than most rooms in the area, we were still very happy with our stay.
I loved the location of this property. It was centrally located in Namba with access to train lines and Dotonbori. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

TaiwanWe didn’t order breakfast because we like western breakfast. The room was a bit too small. It was hard to open both 24” suitcases. When we opened them, we had no room to walk. The bathroom had a smell but not very strong.
The location is great! It’s very convenient to Osaka metro and kintetsu. The staff is friendly and able to speak English.

United StatesWood bunker. Felt a bit claustrophobic. Also had to pay a là carte for towels and I bought a locker for a locker that was too small to fit my luggage.

United KingdomNothing really.
Great location, near busy main road eith all restaurants and attractions. Station nearby. Room comfy and clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast. There was an option to change the japanese breakfast for a more continental option that included a bun, egga and ham ehich was better suited for my 15 yr old.

Czech RepublicI didn't like the beds. The beds were very unconfortable. A thin matress at a wooden bed, feeling like sleeping on the floor.
The hotel has great location in the middle of Namba, next to Namba station, but still in a quite street. Many restaurants and shopping around, direct train to the airport. We had a room with 4 beds which was really small but it is usual in Japan.

NetherlandsThe matrassen could be a bit thicker for non japanees guests together with the pillows.
The hotel has a nice ambience. The attached bar/dining is a good spot to get a late drink after roaming around in the city. The beds are in japanees style a.k.a. not as soft as western matrassen. But in the end, I slept well. Breakfast is served in typical japanees style with a nice experience.

CanadaAs expected the room was really small for a family of 3 adults. The outside hall was not insulated so it was very hot as soon as you opened the door.
The location was great and there was a fun vibe to this place

United KingdomAlthough the reception and common areas are pristine my first impression of the room was that it was a little shabby. However it was clean and all facilities were present and working properly.
The location is amazing; right in amongst the restaurants and bars and only a short walk from a huge shopping area.

United StatesWe got the quadruple bed stacked it’s kinda hot inside though when you sleep even if the AC is on blast. Bed is hard & pillows are hard. We had an issue checking in they are charging for 2 more person although we booked an air & hotel package for 4. They were saying that our booking is for only 2 people which I explained that since we travelled 4 on the airfare package plus hotel my kids are included in the hotel. It got sorted after hours of calling back & forth. Which is a hassle.
Location is great! Close to NAMBA Walk, walking distance to kurumon market & Dotonbori

United StatesGreat for families. We stayed in the 6 person room that had cubicle style bunk beds. Each had its own light and shelving. The kids loved it. It had a small private bathroom but down the hall were toilets and showers for the 6 person rooms. All super clean. Very quiet for sleeping. The location is in a prime spot near the Namba train station and walking distance to Kuromon market and Dotonburi. It took 24 minutes to get to Osaka Castle and 20 to get to Umeda Tower. You can have breakfast at numerous places nearby if you don’t want to do the hotel one. Honestly we couldn’t have gotten a more perfect location.
