The rooms were a bit on the small side, and I wish they had more options of suites or the like, as we had to split our party up over two rooms.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location is quite good, about a 10min walk from Sendai station.

Excellent location for people travelling by train, comparatively spacious room (for Japan), impeccably clean, friendly staff who spoke very good English. Breakfast has a variety of fresh, high quality foods for both western and Japanese tastes. There are cheaper options but you won't get this level of quality, location and service, as far as my experience goes.

The staff are so helpful. On one occasion, I couldn't make a call to amobile no in Tokyo using the room telephone. The staff came to my room to assist. After few attempts, she couldn't connect too. However, she offered to use her mobile to make the call. I didn't want to trouble her but it is definitely plus that she goes an extra mile to help.

Parking was quite expensive at 1,300yen even after discount. Breakfast menu remained the same for the five days we were there.

Room was clean and new. The staff at the reception were friendly and spoke more English than those at the three previous hotels we stayed at.

We chose Keihan because it was close to Aobadori station. We have dragged our two large suitcases into the small roads because we saw a bright hotel signage on the corner of the road. But it’s not the hotel entrance. It’s just in front of the shop. You need to make a right turn and walk further for the hotel. We found out later that there’s a narrow path to the lobby along the entrance of underground parking on the Aobadori street. If it’s not too late that would make life a little bit easier. The internet signal was very good. The staff was kind enough to lend us two umbrellas when asked.

The view, even though we where on the 13th floor, was very disappointing. You could mostly see the roof and walls of the neighbouring ugly buildings. The windows are tiny. The triple room is quite small. Normal size for Tokyo but very small compared to other Tohoku cities. The front staff was average polite but not very helpful and not empathetic at all. To interact with some robots would have been about the same experience. The price-value performance is not impressive compared with other chain hotels. I will not choose this hotel again and I can not recommend.

My biggest gripe was the pillow. Extremely flat and uncomfortable. For me, a comfortable pillow is my most important element for a good night's sleep. I woke up multiple times to adjust because of the uncomfortable pillow.

Very clean, with nice amenities. The TV can mirror your phone, so I was able to watch Youtube on the TV. The room was also very spacious, and the bathroom was super clean. The location is also extremely convenient, right next to Sendai Station. They can also check-in your luggage earlier than 3pm if you like, and they have a generous check-out time of 11am (and they can also still hold on to your luggage beyond that if you need them to).

It was further from Sendai station than expected.

There is a station couple mins walk away if you don't want to walk to Sendai station but you have to make sure you check your schedule, it doesn't runs every mins like other train.
