Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanThe pillow is harder than I find comfortable and wish there were softer options. The humidifier/ air purifier could use a new filter wheel as it wasn't drained between uses.
This is a quiet and clean hotel near the heart of Sendai and an easy walk from the Station. I found it pleasant to work out of a bit (wifi was fast enough) and then see the city.

JapanI suggest that the breakfast service rotate foods served. They offered the exactly the same food every morning. While I respect the fact that they serve regional food, I really wanted some variety. The coffee was barely acceptable. I did not like the curry.
The beds were comfortable. The showers were fantastic. The room temperature was well-regulated. The location was good: a 12-minute walk from the station. The staff members were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast: The fruit and the bread were great, as was the rice.

RussiaThe room was comfortable and warm (which is important during winter season). I found everything I needed and even more - a good collection of skincare products was a great surprise! The breakfast is also very good, with local speciality foods and good coffee. The hotel is located not far from Sendai station, surrounded by shopping and food places, the bus stop is located right before the hotel entrance, so you can get to Sendai station in 5 min and to Sendai Daikannon in 25 min. Also thanks to the friendly and helpful staff!

United StatesNo onsite parking (to be expected) but there is a covered garage next door. (Was around 3,000 yen for a car there around 15 hours)
Very modern, very clean, perfect location, room larger than many business hotels. Front desk staff was very friendly and the proximity to bus lines and train lines was great.

JapanIt was difficult to adjust the water temperature as it does not have an analogue heating system and the laundry machine were not good. It is a bit far from Sendai station.
The hotel staff were very cooperative and the check in was smooth. The overall look is good. The toiletries were nice. The room was cleaned regularly.

CanadaThe floor I had a room gave a dingy, shoddy impression when entered from the elevator for some reason, despite the fact it was a higher floor. Also, there seemed some dubious activities going on, smoking, giggles in the corridor with a number pf routh congregating near the door to outside late at night.
Great location, close to the station and most of the sites for visits. Staff was excellent with handling issues. They approached them with pleasant and reassuring manners.

IsraelThere was only one washing machine, and one dryer, which was not very good. We were barely able to even get to do laundry, and when we did our clothes weren't dried properly.
It was very clean and the staff were very professional and helpful. The location is great and comfortable for public transport and just wondering around.

DenmarkThere was only one washing machine for the entire hotel, and the nearby coin laundries weren't pretty or cheap.
Hotel room was spotless, the lobby was inviting and large, and overall staff was super friendly. The price was low for the period, so we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is near party-district, Kokubuncho, so if you're one for that, this place might be perfect. It didn't get loud during our stay.

SpainWe didnt like the beds and the pillows. Both were very stiff. Also the balcony had no furniture to sit and enjoy the moment. There was a random noise all night that we could not figure out. we only stayed one night, so we didn't ask about it.
We liked the location. We also got a room with a balcony on the topmost floor that had a very decent view.
