We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesOutdated and needs updates / refresh. No shower in room. Carpet in the sitting area of room is very odd for Japan - usually it is wood in a tatami room. Fridge was not very cold. Onsen closes even for shower before checkout time which they do warn you about but I forgot and didn’t get to shower in the morning before checkout. The food was just ok. Not bad but nothing to write home about. I saw food upgrades available but didn’t have the energy to try it. Beer is 600yen etc. Big keys to the room. Have to walk through lobby to go to the other tower of the building to get from the room to the bath. Basically an old kyukamura which is still busy and operational. Nothing wrong with that but just know that’s how it is. It is quite a resort in the outside with lots of trails and the beach. It seemed steep for swimming. I wanted to swim.
Great view. Camping available at the beach. Outside air onsen bath was relaxing and you can see the islands and stars although it is only one bath outside and a little small. Free parking. I think they have many beautiful flowers in springl and also leaves in the fall. The view was outstanding. I think it would be a good place for a gathering.
