Beautiful views of the water. It's calm water as part of a sheltered bay. Its selfservice check in on an ipad and everything worked great! The place is new, clean, well organized

Unfortunately the locals are not particularly cared for to maintain the beautiful beach and promenade in front of the lodging, leaving dog droppings here and there.

To me at the age of 80 this is the new kind of accommodation (unlike traditional hotel or ryokan in Japan) which meets our requirements. Being a self contained lodge with all necessary facilities such as washing/dry machine and fully equipped kitchen we did't miss anything more. Since it was a low season many of local restaurants were not fully open, so self catering is good to go.

The pillows are too hard, the room lights are too dark, and the lighting at night is very insufficient.

The location is perfect, right on the coast. If you get up in the summer, you can jump directly into the beach. The most special thing is the bathroom, a traditional Japanese bathroom with a very clean bathtub

We were here on a Monday in off season, and there were no restaurants or other eateries open that day. So we took the bus and got our lunches and dinners at the large supermarket :-)

Gorgeous setting, right in front of the beach. As no one else was swimming , it felt like a private beach to us :-) very modern and clean, beautifully designed. Well equipped small kitchen and modern, comfortable bathroom with laundry machine. The soy sauce museum was our highlight ! :-)

Location is fantastic, right on the beach and just a few minutes walk to the bus stop, Olive Garden and Olive Park. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms were very clean and have everything needed.

This hotel is very private with just only 4 rooms. It is located just opposite to the Olive Park so it would be very convenient for anyone who wants to visit there. Right in front of the rooms is the beach and the sea, the view is superb. There is a balcony for every room so we just sat and relaxed there looking at the sea. The room itself is spacious and very clean and confortable. There is also a mini kitchen with IH heater and cookware and microwave oven so one can do simple cooking. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom so it is also suitable for longer stays. All in all this is highly recommended property at the price.

The property forgot to deliver our pre-booked breakfast but it got quickly delivered once we reminded them that it was missing (they deliver a lovely breakfast box to your room if you book breakfast).

Absolutely fantastic and new accommodation with a terrace and amazing view. Beautiful sunset and sunrise on the beach. Right next to Shodoshima Olive Garden. Everything is brand new and the place is fully equipped including kitchen with induction hob, rice cooker, microwave etc. Washing machine available. Very kind host, easy check in instructions. Supermarket about a 20 min bus away.

The only drawback for me was the lack of a convenience store nearby. I had to take a bus back to the town/port to find a supermarket.

This resort provided self-catering facilities (though breakfast was available on request). Very spacious. The location was superb, looking directly onto the beach, easily reached by bus from the ferry port. own patio with table and chairs. Spotlessly clean with excellent facilities including a washing machine. The bonus for me was the self-drying and clothes drying fan in the bathroom!!

Very clean, tidy and quiet environment. Beach is right in front of the room balcony. Can see a lot stars in clear sky and sun rise. Breakfast was simple sandwiches, green salad, yogurt and orange juice which were healthy and gave us an refreshing morning. Although the room is not so big but is well equipped with washing machine and sufficient kitchen ware with a surprise of electrical cooker. We didn’t make use of them this time but the owner was so nice to assist us reserving a delicious dinner place. And there is a common area upstairs for work. It is very close to Olive Park, just a few minutes drive up the hillside.

The accommodation is right next to the olive beach and walking distance to the olive park. Exceptional views. The room was super clean with kitchen and laundry facilities. Check-in procedures were also modern and smooth using iPad and entered with a keypad lock.
