Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Everything. The location was fantastic as while being around 4kms out of Hakuba this we saw as an advantage. The guesthouse was amongst the most beautiful setting and you looked out onto snow covered trees. It was calm, beautiful and welcoming. The guesthouse itself was simple, but so inviting: warm, well heated spacious rooms, comfortable beds, expansive lounge and breakfast area and Allan, the owner and host was outstanding. It was brilliant value for money. Allan collected us from Happo bus station upon our arrival, drove us to the ski field each morning and collected us at the end of the day. He made the whole skiing experience effortless. He even picked us up in Hakuba one evening on our first day when we needed to get back to the guesthouse. He went out of his way to ensure our stay was everything we expected and more. Breakfast was also included and was lovely. Shared bathroom no issue and so organised as was the drying room for the ski gear. Allan also owns a ski rental shop, hostel and bar within walking distance from "Powder Republic" and we welcomed a drink and tasty fried chicken at the restaurant one night. It was only a short walk from "Powder Republic". We also went into Hakuba for NYE and with help from the staff at "Powder Republic" we obtained a taxi in and home on NYE. Getting around despite being out the centre of Hakuba was therefore not an issue. Loved the whole experience. Would definitely stay at the "Powder Republic" on our next stay skiing in Hakuba. Thanks to Allan and the whole PR staff for a fabulous time.

There is a The NorthFace flagship store, family restaurant, and 7-11 convenient store near the station. The hotel is cozy and clean. Bed is very comfy. Breakfast is simple but delicious. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the conversation with him, and will definitely visit again!

Amazing and friendly staff who went above and beyond. For example, I told the owner that I love eggs Benedict and his wife made me some for breakfast one day. What’s even better is his wife’s cooking is amazing!!! So flavorful. The owner also gives local recommendations for restaurants and activities. He truly went above and beyond and drove us to each hike we did and even picked us up from the hike and then drove us to dinner. That was very kind of him since the booking states that it only allows for one pickup and drop off per day. He was able to do this since other guests were attended to and he had extra time. Truly the definition of going above and beyond. Before and after our hikes he would also make sure if we had enough food and if we needed to stop by a grocery store or convenience store to pick up sandwiches for the next day’s hike. The place is also very clean, no dust. The owner even cleaned the shared shower after each person’s shower. The hotel is also very cozy and feels like my grandma’s home, very warming and welcoming.
