Although the room was quite tight, as you would expect in Tokyo, it was very functional with a bed for the adults and bunk beds for the kids. Convenient location with a Lawson right next door, and two Family Marts within 50 metres. Also a big supermarket a few minutes further up. Location was great with close proximity to the train station.

We loved the quirky modern art all around the room. It was a great size, comfortable beds, plenty of room for suitcases and in a great location and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend.

The location, Kinshicho, is known for its night-life, so if you're returning to the hotel in the late evenings, you might come across hostesses or other fixtures of Japanese night-life. However, we were never accosted or disturbed in any way, so it's just something for parents to be aware of in case your kids like to ask pointed questions.

We booked the large family room for our family of five: two parents and children aged 9, 7, and 3. The room was spacious and had a very pleasant dining/kitchen area, where we started our days with a meal together, and where we sat down in the evenings before going to bed. The bathroom was very clean and the kids loved taking baths in the Japanese-style bathtub. If you travel with children you'll know that kids can't eat out 3 times a day, and they need some time to decompress in private, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist activities. The spacious room really helped us in this regard. MIMARU is a great place to stay when visiting Tokyo -- the Kinshicho JR station is a 2-minute walk from the hotel, and there are many restaurants and shops in the vicinity (including a 24/7 SEIYU supermarket). The staff were super helpful and very accommodating.

It was a little noisy, but acceptable to us.

Staff are amazing and went out of their way to help. (10+) rating for them. (We even had a personal note left on our door!) The team all speak English to a high standard and are great to help you navigate Tokyo. The spacious rooms are perfect for families or people that want more room size than the Japan normal.

I feel it located among red light and bar district but it’s safe! just mention to more aware when you walk around at night alone! For the day-time, it’s nice and safe neighborhood!

This is my 2nd visit here! Staff was great and helpful. Thay always willing to help if we have any issue. Room was nice and comfortable. Konbini and restarants is around the conner. Near to JR and Tokyo metro station. Recommended

At first impression, some people might feel the bars in front of the building or surrounding area towards East are a bit dodgy. Please do not be afraid at all about this, it won’t affect at all your stay. We circulated with kids, any time day or night there is no noise or any issues coming from there.

Stayed here 1 months as family of four with two kids (4 and 5yr old). The staff is very nice, service-oriented and helpful. The apartment is well equipped and clean. A detailed scheduling of cleaning was given to us on arrival. Lot of practicalities make your stay comfortable, e.g., free tea and skin care products, free rental of board games, pajamas, umbrellas, toaster, etc. There are washing/drying machines on the 1st floor at a reasonable price. The place is well located near many restaurants, transport options, parks, a mall with an indoor playground, convenience stores, etc. A 24/7 supermarket is also very close by walking. Skytree tower, which has an aquarium and another indoor playground, is not far either (one station away or a 25 mins walk).

it’s an apartment, so they actually clean your room every 3 days. But actually it’s not a full clean. They only do vacuum. They said that they only do full clean every 10 days. If we need it, there will be a charge for JPY 5000. In my opinion, 10 days is too long

I wish there was a shoe cabinet to put shoes in, and slippers. It would be nicer to know that the carpeted floors were not used by shoes. But I understand that's challenging to do in a hotel like this.

The family room was perfect for our family of 5. Kids absolutely loved the bunk bed, parents were happy with the separate room. The kitchenette had everything we needed, and the front desk can loan out all the items you might need (toaster, rice cooker, etc.) Easy to do laundry, staff had great recommendations for local restaurants, and the whole setup was clean and welcoming. A surprisingly convenient location with so much to see and do nearby. Front desk staff was so kind and helpful!

Comfortable and clean. Rooms are spacious in Japan context. Easy walk from the rail station. We like this hotel because it is not located in the usual tourist area. . Near to 2 beautiful sakura gardens where you hardly see any tourists.
