Honestly, there wasn’t anything i can pin point that i did not like in my 11 nights staying with Mimaru but if i had to say something it would be the location. Mimaru Kinshicho is considerably out of the way of typical tourist hot spot cities like Shibuya and Shinjuku etc. at the same time it was not difficult getting to those places or considerably pricier when using the train which was the most cost effective mode of transport and the Kinshicho station is walking distance from the Hotel. Other than that there wasn’t really anything i disliked.

We had such a wonderful stay and thank you so very much to all the staff we interacted with during our stay you were all so accommodating from the receptionists to the after hours security to our housekeepers, so awesome. Everyone were so friendly and helpful with any queries we had and the housekeepers were awesome at turning over our rooms daily making sure we had fresh towels and emptied the bins daily which was definitely needed daily with all the shopping we had been doing. The room we booking was the japanese one bedroom apartment and there were 3 friends staying there for 11 nights and it was so great. We were so shocked at how spacious it was after all our research we had done on accommodation in Tokyo it was definitely a big tick for us considering we had our large individual check in luggage’s and intending on doing a lot of shopping. The amenities offered at the hotel were so lovely to have and were offered in the reception area. There was a laundry room on-site which was another huge tick for us. I must say now that i think of it, it would be nice to have complimentary water bottles available in the rooms that would be a lovely addition if possible in the future. All in all we are all so pleased with our experience at Mimaru in Kinshicho and one last thing i will say is i am so grateful that they allow holding bags after check out that was another huge tick as our flight wasn’t till midnight and they held our bags all the way up till we headed off to the airport. The room had a musty smell and we heard siren often at night which was quite loud although we couldn't hear other guests at all.

We loved the spaciousness of the accommodation. Kids loved the bunk bed although the mattress itself was a bit thin. We loved having the kitchen area although we didn't cook during our stay. We made coffee and had breakfast every morning. Although it took a while, it was only one train ride from the airport. We could catch a special bus to Disneyland. We found out much later that the area meant to be one of the unsafe places in Tokyo but we never felt unsafe. The staff was very helpful and we loved the fact that we could borrow some games and an adapter.

Friendly staff, helped us with all our inquires about train station, food places etc Facility was clean and spacious for 5 of us. There were umbrellas available for guest to use near the entry , laundry was cheap and handy. Location was convenient to most places we wanted to visit Included the train station. Room service was great , they changed the bins , replace towels every day. Overall we had great time and would recommend this hotel.

While location was great for us because it was close to a main train station, shops (convenience stores, grocery store and pharmacy) and restaurants, it is very close to a hospital which means you’ll hear ambulance sirens often. It didn’t bother us at all but if you’re a light sleeper it might bother you.

Great hotel for young families, very spacious for Tokyo, very clean, good facilities and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Japanese style apartment - perfect for our family of five. Plenty of room to spread out, everything included you could think of (just ask at reception for everything). Close to JR and metro stations - one block walk, many supermarkets, department staores and great places to eat. We enjoyed coming back each day as it was a lovely quiet area.

The hotel was really well connected by subway (just 300m away) and close to the sky tree where there are many attractions to see including the sky tree tower, sumida aquarium, lots of shopping and the world's longest sushi train at Kura Sushi. We stayed in a room that had a bunk bed and additional bedroom which made it very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. I would highly recommend this Mimaru hotel!

We had the projector room. During the day there is a volume limiter so you can hardly hear the audio. We had to use subtitles. I understand at night time for the other guests but it didn’t bother us too much in the evening. The outside noises were lower at night and you can hear much better, although still very low.

Very close to the subway and food. A lot to do in the neighbourhood. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great location, 4mins walk from station with easy links into central city. Room fab for 2 adults, 13 yo and 16 yo. Laundry room really well equipped and well worth using especially as it was so hot and we wanted to wash our sweaty clothes. Staying in 3 Mimaru’s on this trip and we’re thrilled we stuck with the same chain.

The toilet wasn’t cleaned despite the fact everything else was cleaned regularly.

Spacious rooms for Japanese standards. Attentiveness of English speaking front staff. Laundry facilities are easy to use. 24 hour open convenience stores nearby. 5 minutes walk to the nearest train station. Plenty choice of restaurants and bars in the area. Big supermarkets situated in the basement floors of the department stores just outside of Kinshicho Station and they are open until 9pm.
