Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanThat the hotel is located on the 20th floor of the building, so it's difficult to access from the ground level. And with only 2 elevators to access the hotel lobby you have to wait when you have too many visitors at the same time.
The lobby is spacious and comfortable. The terrace has an amazing view of the Yokohama skyline. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathroom is very modern. The breakfast service has a great selection and food is delicious.

CanadaWe drove to the hotel and there is no place to park and off load luggage. We had to stop next door at a car rental carpark to make our drop off. The main door was not conviently visible.
Beautiful building and really modern design. I appreciated that it has a washing machine in the building, which made it super convenient. We had the best view of the harbour and this the fireworks dueing rh Miratorai Festival.

United StatesThe staff was too busy. They were very good but very little time to do more than basics. The pool is too small for swimming and crowded. Outside jacuzzi pool very nice.
The personal at the bar were nice and efficient. The bar selection was fully stocked with choices, the staff was very good and food options excellent. I liked the indoor and outdoor options off the lobby. Nice to sit outside and relax with the view regardless of the heat outside.

DenmarkPerhaps allocation of more desk space in the room so it becomes more of a home office.
High customer service, such as perhaps a small detail, but easy access to borrowing an adapter meant a lot to me.

SwitzerlandThe place works like clockwork, operated mostly by very young staff that is completely rule-bound and does not know how to make exceptions or how to really talk to their clients, other than by sending them to a check-in machine, putting them into a line, or by following some other protocol ... For example, coming from a long-haul intercontinental flight, they told me that I would have to pay for an entire extra day to check in a bit early (which incidentally had been no problem at my preceding 5-star hotel, after also arriving from an intercontinental flight). Meanwhile, my room was already free and just sitting there until 3 pm; even for just checking in one hour early, they would have wanted to charge an exorbitant extra fee. Given that I was going to stay for almost an entire week, I found this incredibly stingy. Breakfast starts exactly at 7 am, not a minute earlier, and the bar actually shuts a bit before its official closing time, no exceptions and no effort to make the guest happy anyway by deviating from protocol even only slightly. In fact, upon check-in the guest is handed an A4 sheet with "important" rules on both sides. Overall, this "computer-like" setup is not a huge deal, but in a 5-star hotel the guest's happiness should trump rules when the deviation to achieve it seems minimal. Did I mention that an actual robot is watching the guest going to the elevators, ... no kidding!
The hotel occupies some of the top floors in an office building and needs to be accessed from a side entrance, which can be a little difficult to find at first. The close-to-surround view from my corner room onto Yokohama was nothing short of spectacular, and so was the panorama from the restaurant. The breakfast was quite outstanding, with lots of choice and very friendly and efficient staff. Perfection could have been achieved if the fruit juices were fresh (and of generally higher quality) and if there had been good bred (other than the excellent croissants and the squishy little buns).

JapanMaybe because I was a foreigner, but there was a big disconnect between the people running the hotels parking and the front desk staff. We waited in line for parking only to be told we couldn't park there and that "hotel reservations were full" by the attendant - I showed them my hotel reservation but they did not care and told me to move out of line. The front desk staff was confused by this and suggested I go talk to them again, which I did but was just again told "sorry the parking lot was full"... Meanwhile there were 8 cars waiting to pull into the lot one by one. It was very frustrating and ended up costing me a significant amount of money to park nearby in the city. I wish the front desk staff would have offered to talk to their parking attendants on my behalf instead of not doing anything about the situation - especially when they knew my Japanese skills were limited. This was the only issue, and a situational one at that, I would absolutely consider staying there again. But maybe next time try to ask for their assistance more if the parking attendants are going to be difficult with me...
The value if money is exceptional, we had a corner king, room was big, bathroom beautiful and separate, bed was very comfortable, and an exceptional view from our floor!

TaiwanWe experienced some issues with noisy guests, particularly in the elevator, where we occasionally felt offended by their words. We suggest that the hotel should strive to maintain a quiet environment in common areas such as the elevator and lobby.
The room was clean, quiet, and offered a splendid harbor view. We appreciated the useful room controlling system and air purifier provided. The hotel's service was excellent - we requested an iron at the last minute, and it was already placed in our room before we checked in. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choices, although the menu repeated daily.
