The walls were paper thin, so we were getting woken up by people all the time. The ventilation system is not the best, the place was damp.

There is some discrimination against foreign guests. There was my family and 2 Korean groups who reached the lobby around 15 mins before 4pm. We were denied check-in until 4pm. A Japanese couple were able to check in straight away. The ground floor was smelly and the carpets stained. The smell of blocked drainage permeats the lobby. The room door knob was loose (I could literally pry it open). I did not make noise only because the electronic lock was still working. For this kind of weekend price please at least ensure proper maintenance.

Location is close to restaurants and walking distance to Tenjin shopping district. Beds were relatively clean. Bathroom was ok.

I asked the hotel before I arrived a few days about luggage storage since they check in time was so late at 4 pm. When I arrived at the hotel, there wasn’t and locks at all. Contacted the hotel and he told me to go back to the train station and use a locker there. Unexceptional response!!! It wasn’t right to tell your customer to walk to a bus station then go to a train station. Eventually, he contacted the housekeeper and she let us left our luggage in the room first since the previous guests checked out already. Facility was so dirty. Hallways were dirty and the room was even worse. Dirty room, very dusty, the worst part was bedding. I couldn’t believe how they left me a pillow full of mold on the pillow case and blankets were extremely nasty, smelled of people sweat accumulated on the blanket, very very strong odor. I couldn’t sleep on the first night since smell was so strong. I was so disgusted by it.

The location was convenient since there were many restaurants and convenient stores near by and easy to get to Tenjin and hakata by buses. When u emailed the hotel , they do answer back in timely manner.

It was fine for me but it takes 10 to 15 minutes walk from nearest subway so if you have big luggage or something then maybe it’ll sweat you

Thankfully, the inside of our room was clean (enough) and didn’t smell but any time spent in the hallways was painful as the smell was so horrid. Like food rotting and vomit mixed together. There were beer cans and cigarette ashes all over the patio for days and no one on site seemed to care about cleaning the common areas.
