Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe room was relatively spacious for rooms in Japan, the staff were very friendly and the room/bathroom were super clean and tidy. Staff gave lots of info, helped us with directions to send our bags to Osaka and cleaned the rooms well. Location close to Akihabara area was great too!

FranceUnfortunately, while modern the premises are very small and limit the morning's experience (no real breakfast). Also, while the tiny rooms are properly vaccumed and disinfected, we notice a quite heavily stained carpet which is uncommon in Japan and felt a bit dirty.
They say "location is key!", well in this case, 400m from Akihabara station, you cant really do better. On foot in Akihabara, Ueno, Asakusa in a few minutes, you will reach Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku-Omotesando, but also Ginza, Roppongi, Azabujuban in the blink of an eye!

AustraliaWhen we booked in June they listed breakfast included, but when we got there in October we were told they weren't doing that anymore. We never got a notice before we got to the hotel and checked in. It was an expensive hotel and the breakfast inclusion was part of why we chose this hotel. I know Tokyo accommodation is expensive but this place was expensive for what you get. If we visit Tokyo again we'll go elsewhere.
Modern and clean, short walk to a few different train stations. Some restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

SpainIf I had to point out one small thing, it would be the limited number of plugs in the room, but that’s just a minor issue and didn’t affect our stay at all.
N Plus Hotel Akihabara has an excellent location, just a short walk from Akihabara Station, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Despite being in a bustling neighborhood, the hotel was surprisingly cozy and quiet, allowing us to rest comfortably after busy days in Tokyo. The rooms were very clean, and the service from the staff was exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions. There’s also a Family Mart conveniently located right across the street, which was great for grabbing snacks or drinks on the go.

UruguayThe room was a little tight. The single beds were placed together as if it was a double bed, and you had to go over one bed to get to the other one, since there was not enough room at the foot of the beds to walk by. Also, the air conditioning unit had a leak once you turned it off.
Everything was perfectly clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, given the size of the room. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

AustraliaThe included breakfast is just a drink box and a convenience store sandwich, but we got used to that quickly and quite enjoyed it. The staff were pleasant and as helpful as they could be without having a great deal of English.
The location is terrific, on a quiet street, just a few minutes' brisk walk from the big Akihabara train station, and the Hibiya Metro line. The room had everything we needed, cleverly arranged in a small space. Lots of power points everywhere! The hotel only has three rooms on each floor. There is a little cafe room on the ground floor where you can have your breakfast sandwich and make a tea or coffee.

Czech RepublicThe room was really small and the breakfast is just a few tiny toasts.
A new hotel located in a pleasant neighborhood of Tokyo. The rooms are quite small, featuring a comfy double bed, a small table, and a chair. If you have large luggage, you might want to reconsider as there isn't much space in the room. However, everything else was great. The interior is nice, clean, and new, with an excellent bathroom and toilet. There is a TV with Netflix and other amenities, which is a welcome treat after a busy day in Tokyo. Approximately 8mins walk from Metro station.
