Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaProperty is off site the main Niseko/Hirafu core area. There are shuttle buses, but not frequent enough to allow easy transfers. We also waited at the end of a ski day at the Hirafu gondola where the shuttle was supposed to pickup at 4:30pm (confirmed with the front desk staff) and it just never came. No shuttle service between 6:20pm and 8:20pm. There’s also another free shuttle “Kabayama line” which stops at Miru, but there’s no ‘official’ schedule aside from a GPS tracker indicating the current position. On site restaurant, like many others in the Niseko area these days, is really pricey.
Fairly recent. Rooms are nice and very clean. Onsen on site. Good breakfast selection.

SingaporeThe apartment side has two floors but the second floor only can be accessed by stairs which was not very convenient for my older mom. And laundry could have two washers and dryers
It’s just 7 mins drive away from hirafu and it’s very cosy and homey. The breakfast was good as well! Has a beautiful view of Mount yotei

Onsen was amazing, the room was massive, and the facilities were great. I was so surprised they has "return" rates for guests that I was even texting people to plan out another trip here before I even left

Everything was great! Nice, comfortable rooms with plenty of space. And we could see Mount Yotei from our window :) The breakfast was good with big variety of food. We also enjoyed the dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful and organized perfect transfers for us on check-in and check-out days. We appreciate their care very much! We also were happy to enjoy hot springs located at the hotel premises after active skiing days. Hotel has modern design and everything is made in Japanese style – with the focus on the quality to all small details. I strongly recommend this hotel!

Lodge 9 was perfect for our group of 8. Plenty of space, clean and very comfortable. Shelter for our car. Room for our snowboards to dry. We had a fabulous view of the volcano. Breakfast each morning was fab.

Singapore- frequency of the Miru shuttle bus can be more frequent. - the in-house restaurant should serve ala carte menu and not just set dinner. Hence we did not eat there.
- comfortable area for family of 4. - room are clean and well maintained. - 2 vanity sinks are useful as we have 4 people - microwave is great & come with cutlery eg plates - free laundry & dryer is great - breakfast has enough choices of western & Japanese. - luv the outdoor onsen. - no amenities within walking distance but free shuttle bus and Miru Shuttle bus is doorstep. Very convenient. - pickup fr HIRAFU welcome Centre is great. - storage for ski & boots are gd.

SingaporeWe stayed for 8 nights, but the breakfast barely changed much in the menu. By the 3rd day, we were hardly eating any of the hot stuffs. It would be good to switch menu every 2-3 days.
very spacious room for 3 pax - pretty decent dry room for our gears (but it does get full fast during peak season) - helpful staff (Ede) - pjs were provided - Mt Yotei view - public shuttle right at the door step + Miru own shuttle to take guests to Annupuri - public bath (it would be better if it was an onsen!) - in between all 4 resorts (we drove, so it took 5 mins to Hirafu & 10-15 mins to NV & Annupuri)

New ZealandThe laundry machines were weirdly hard to use, and we had issues drying our clothes even after multiple runs in the dryer. Ended up with hot wet clothes that followed us to the next hotel :') Flattest pillows we've experienced so far out of 3 hotels, though pillows on the flatter side seem to be the norm for Japan. Travel to anywhere but Hirafu was a mission (like the Niseko town which was recommended for onsen but we found out had nothing else going for it), though this isn't an issue with the hotel. Neighbours mentioned that use of the laundry machine made noise on their bedroom wall, another resident mentioned a view of the road while we had a great tree landscape. Seems to be luck of the draw what room you get, though the cons definitely don't outweigh the pros.
Very spacious room with lots of room for luggage. Room was maintained well every day, the bathroom was nice with good amenities. Cool pajamas included and lots of guests were wearing them around the hotel and to breakfast. The breakfast was really nice, but after a few days the lack of variation got a bit boring. Really convenient shuttle bus and information for the public buses that came right past the hotel for easy travel into Hirafu. Hotel staff were helpful in informing us about ski rental and the location of key places on the provided map. Free laundry machine usage! The hotel provided a nice room to keep ski gear in. Free onsen (heated public bath) that was great and rivalled the paid ones I tried.

TaiwanLocation is around 5 mins drive from Niseko Downtown and the taxi was impossible to get, shuttle bus was not operate from 6:30-8:30pm, therefore, been careful with the shuttle bus schedule. One of our friends boot was being mistakenly taken by someone from the hotel ski room, I think the initial handling was not very proactive (such as just saying there is nothing they can do), later on the manager (?) was a bit more helpful at least trying to contact the people that we think have took our boots.
Clean, breakfast was superb, most of the staffs are helpful

United KingdomThe property was a bit far from town center/lifts. There were shuttles provided which is really good. However during midday and dinner time it would be nice to have more frequent shuttle or on-demand shuttles.

SingaporeThrough no fault of theirs, it's a little far from the centre of the action. Probably more suitable for travelers with their own wheels.
The free laundry facilities was a nice touch. Breakfast was also satisfying. It never got too crowded, and there was always space to park when we got back after a long but great day.

Miru Miseko is a very nice property. The rooms are very clean and a good size and the staff is extremely accommodating and nice. There is a great public bath (not an onsen) that I used every day after skiing. (Men and women are separated. No bathing suits allowed, as per japanese tradition.) There’s no bar at the property, but there’s a vending machine with good beer. The on-site restaurant is plain but nice and serves beer and wine; the food was also nice, but not great. The restaurant does not serve lunch and is not open other than for breakfast and dinner. although the property is approximately one to 2 miles from town and the mountains, There is a shuttle bus that will take you to town and the mountains at scheduled intervals and the hotel will pick you up/Drop you off at the Niseko Welcome Center if you request it. Overall, I would give this property a very high rating.

IndonesiaThou its not near the snow activity but they do offer the shuttle to the downtown village which is very helpful. The room itself is superb with a japanese style room and the bed is sooo comfy and everything is super clean. They also do a washer and dryer in every 2nd floor which is very nice. The breakfast yet simple but delicious. The surrounding at the back of the hotel is so nice, we had a good time playing snow in there. Definitely will come back there.
