Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandBe aware that it's quite a long walking distance to the nearest metro station (can take a bus although)
Good value for money, we stayed as a four-people family so it wasn't the most spacious place, but it was definitely enough. Lawson next door, walking distance to Sensoji temple and good contact with the staff. Very quiet surroundings

United KingdomSpace is a bit tight for a family of 4, but not unusual for Tokyo standards, and given location and price, better than expected. We would have appreciated some mugs/cups for tea/coffee, but everything else was perfect for a short stay.
Location is perfect, just 10 minutes away walking from Asakusa station. From there, there's really easy access to anywhere in Tokyo, plus direct access with the Keyku Airport Line from Haneda airport. And of course ideal to visit Asakusa neighbourhood on foot. Owners provided all information we needed quickly and efficiently. Apartment was very clean and nice, just as described and shown on photos. It has a Lawson's just downstairs, which was very useful for breakfast. Very safe neighbourhood.

Location is very good as there is a bus stop at the front door. We find it so convenient to go to the train station which connects us to other attractions in Tokyo. We love the convenient store downstairs which supply us with huge variety of good food.

United StatesSent us incorrect code to enter apartment. It was very stressful not being able to get into the apartment late in the evening after very long, tiring travel. There were 3 of us and we stayed for 6 nights, but they only gave us 3 bath towels, and 4 small hand towels. Towels were really thin and stayed soaked wet. When we arrived, there were no towels in the bathroom, we had to go looking for them (they were hidden in the closet in the bedroom). No labels on shampoo/conditioner/body wash, so we had to experiment to figure out which was which. Kitchen had no mugs, only 5 Japanese-style small bowls. We could use those for soup or tea, but we didn’t have enough when wanted to do both. Tea kettle was dusty and the pitcher for water didn’t look clean. One of our two beds was put against the sliding glass door. We had to step on the bed to go outside to the balcony. No instructions on how to use the washer, so we had to hand-wash some of our clothes, and wait until our next destination to wash the rest. Kitchen didn’t have a drying rack. There were only 2 spoons in the kitchen, so we had to ask convenience store workers for a plastic spoon. Glass sliding door was very thin. At nights, we heard a lot of street noise from trucks, ambulance vehicles, ravens crowing. Draught was coming through the sliding door too. Not having staff on site meant we weren’t able to get help or have our questions answered in a timely manner. They didn’t give us enough hand soap, so we had to look for soap refill in the cupboards. There were a lot of unneeded cleaning supplies, so it took a lot of google-translating to figure out what was for us and what was for the housekeeping person.
Great location, 10-15 minute walk to Asakusa train station for subway access to practically anywhere in Tokyo. Felt safe walking in the evenings with my children. Convenience store downstairs, bus stop to go to Tokyo station right outside. Shower pressure in bathroom was great. Beds were comfortable.

The place is awesome, it has an excellent location. Located just a 10mins walk from Asakusa Station - it was perfectly located next to handicraft shops, senso ji temple and near tokyo skytree. Great facilities and hospitable owners meant it was a comfortable stay.

SpainWe loved everything and our children did too
The place is better than what you see in the pictures. Small but good enough for our family of 4. All very functional. We stayed here after travelling several weeks in Japan and we loved the neighbourhood, not touristry at all. Very quiet and at the same time easy to reach the tourist area. There is a bus stop right in front that would take you to the metro station but we would just walk as it was so nice to reach the Sumida's river bank and walk along, early morning or late night.

New ZealandIt would be better if breakfast could be provided. Everything else is perfect!
It was late at night when I landed in Japan from New Zealand, and I quickly found the accommodation and keys through the message sent to me by the landlord. The room was very comfortable and I had a good sleep. There is a convenience store downstairs. I think it's very convenient. If you are hungry in the early morning, you can go down to buy something to eat. There are also buses that can go directly to Sensoji Temple, which is very important for tourists!
