Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaCannot think of anything. My wife and I are an elderly couple (68 years) and this was our 6th journey to Japan. We enjoyed our visit to Nagoya city and our stay at Nikko Style Nagoya.
The Japanese set breakfast choice was exceptional. The rest of the buffet was also very good. Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful, with excellent service in all areas. Hotel location is good - less than 10 min walk to Nagoya station. Note that getting out of Nagoya station can be confusing due to its' size and the multiple exits. So ensure that you have precise directions. Hotel rooms and facilities are very good. Several major attractions are within walking distance (under 30min) from Nikko Nagoya hotel. - Nagoya castle/Hommaru palace, Noritake gardens, Toyota Commemorative museum, Science museum, Osu-shotengai district, etc. Do not believe people who say there isn't much to do in Nagoya. We stayed 5 nights and were fully occupied every day. And Nikko Style Nagoya is definitely a top choice if you are planning a stay in Nagoya.

PhilippinesNothing at All.
The room was so spacious and clean and very comfortable. I especially loved the separate toilet, shower and sink. The cafe downstairs is so chic!!!

SingaporeLove the vibes! From the lobby, cafe, corridor to the room, everything is stylishly designed. The room is big for Japanese standard, but a tad tight for 3 people. Staff is friendly and the location is convenient. Nagoya is such a walkable city, we practically walked to everywhere. Managed to catch the last day of Sake Festival by the river. Such a fun experience!

United StatesLocation is awkwardly between two stations so it's a bit of a walk. I would recommend trying to taxi or use Yamato Transport for luggage purposes.
Great boutique hotel, spacious room, good tub, convenient food options and family mart down the street.

AustraliaAfter staying at Nikko Style Nagoya a couple of years ago, we knew we would always stay here any time we visit Nagoya. The staff are so incredibly helpful and kind - during our most recent stay we mentioned a lost passport, and 3 staff members immediately started helping us to track it down & coordinate where we could pick it up from! We had it back within an hour of realising it had been lost somewhere the previous day thanks to their assistance.

ThailandStyle not always come with comfort.
Room light control and quite new with style. But not seem to be comfortable; the sofa is to low height, no hanger in shower room with door.

SwitzerlandBreakfast - although pretty expensive - was really bad. Low quality food, not tasty. The hotel is accepting bus tours participants, so the breakfast place can be very busy. Enough said - despite paying for breakfast upon booking on the second day we went for breakfast somewhere else.
The room was big and well equipped, although the amount of light spots was making it difficult to sleep (if you are sensitive to that). Very clean, sound proof.

JapanA little over-furnished for the layout & size. Separate shower & bath wet room assumes the latter is not for washing (Jp style). Coffee in addition to the tea options would be great. Cafe-bar / restaurant somewhat overpriced.
Quiet, well-appointed room well insulated against traffic noise. Impressive, thoughtfully designed facilities, esp cafe-bar & restaurant. Great, no-fuss service; well located with many eateries nearby & a 10 min walk from the station. Generous selection of toiletries.

MexicoThe location. It’s a considerable walk with luggage from Nagoya station or to the nearest station. And the price, it’s expensive for what it is and you don’t really get many amenities.
It’s a really nice hotel, comfortable stay. It has a really good restaurant in the lobby, for dinner or breakfast.

AustraliaDidn’t have a self service laundry (it did have a laundry service but because we were only there for one night, we couldn’t use it).
Room was amazing! So spacious and with luxury toiletries and inclusions - I felt so pampered going through all the little goodies and using them all, especially the eye warmers!
