Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TaiwanHot spring status showing on TVT was always crowded. The smell of hot spring is not what we thought of original hot spring.
The location is very good and close to rail/bus station . it is easy to find food around the corner. The room space is good enough for 2 people with luggage in the room.

SingaporeThe lobby is on the second floor where you need to take an escalator. Cumbersome for those with more than one bag. It’s more for business travelers. Room is very small for 2 people. No luggage space
The location! Just next to Hakata station where all the action is.

Hong KongWatch out for the breakfast arrangement. Two choices, a full buffet on the LB lobby (1/F) level and a set menu breakfast at the semi-hidden 1/F floor (Onsen/ground floor) level. Very confusing. Front desk check in staff cocked up our breakfast booking arrangement and we ended up with only one set menu meal, causing restaurant staff to get very flustered and confused.
Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata is a vanilla (although orange outside) Japanese business hotel adjacent to the north end of the Hakata bus terminal. This is a good value option for the price and location which is close to the heart of Fukuoka's rail, metro, and bus transport hub. The journey from Fukuoka International Airport to the Hakata bus terminal using the airport bus service is thoroughly painless; buses depart outside the arrivals hall and terminate opposite the Hotel Croom, which is less than a run-out throw across the road. The hotel interior is a bright Scandinavian blonde-themed light brown. Rooms are "compact" with all the right amenities squeezed in; en suite bathroom (mind your head), desk, TV, A/C, dehumidifier, refrigerator. Hanging and suitcase storage space is limited. It seems designed for the light-travelling salaryman. Trouser presses are placed next to the lifts, and the imagined image of trouserless businessmen queuing to prep their pants for a day out is hard to shake. There is a ground floor (1/F) Onsen and a coin laundry on the 8th floor. A good value base to start exploring Kyushu. There are three "Crooms" in Fukuoka; best to double-check the name and location before booking.

United KingdomBreakfast is buffet style but food quality and choices is okay only. Strange to find cleaning staff using the lift lobby on the guest room floors for sorting out used bed sheets. Would expect this to be done in cleaning rooms.

SingaporeThe toilet had quite a musty smell that was rather unpleasant. The room was also quite small, made worse by having a table, coffee table and chair which limited our ability to open even one large suitcase easily (although to be fair we were told the size of the room already). The walls can be quite thin, and we can hear neighbouring rooms.
Hotel was very close by to Hakata station. Generally still quite clean. The public baths were great, with a cold pool, outdoor and indoor hot pools and a dry sauna (could be quite busy though). Staff were friendly and professional.

IrelandBizarelly, the windows and rooms seem to not have any real sound-proofing, so the sound of the trains, even with windows closed and shuttered was quite loud at night Lack of a bath was a small annoyance but not massive issue if you only staying short span
Excellent location, right beside the main Hakata railway and some of the main routes around Fukuoka Rooms were quite comfy, nice desk and extra massage seat was very relaxing at the end of long days Rainfall shower and bathroom overall was clean and looked new Breakfasts were some of the best on the trip, a lot of choices of food from Japanese to Western and other Asian, and varied each day on many items Hotel layout was very nice, lobby was well run and all staff were polite and efficient

AustraliaThe internet connection was erratic, cutting out at random - even though it did work well when I was in the hotel lobby. However, I am not sure if the issues were caused by my anti-virus software so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt on that one. The other minor matter is you can hear the underground trains but that is a small price to pay for being in a good location to the train station.
I really liked using the hotel onsen, it was relatively spacious and invigorating to use. The hotel room was clean and it was comfortable. The shower facilities was excellent, by Japanese or Western standards. The customer service was warm and friendly (something some hotels in the West can learn from). The location was about a 10 minute walk from the trains, which was really convenient. Buffet breakfast was served in a restaurant linked to the hotel, which had a nice ambient feel.

SingaporeThe hairdryer was not strong enough. Would have been great if that can be replaced. The windows had handprints on it. Would have been good if cleaning was done for that too.
Excellent location, within 5 minutes of Hakata Station and right next to the Bus Terminal. Room was of a decent size and our room had a wonderful view of the Hakata JR station platforms where trains came and went. Despite the proximity, we hardly heard any noise. Clean and comfortable.
