Great hotel and great room and great service. Location wasn’t convenient- you have to taxi everywhere. Great place to stay if you don’t want to travel too far from the hotel.

A little out of the way if you’re trying to be flexible with planning - we walked from Gora station because we didn’t know what time we’d need the shuttle bus in advance. The walk’s nice enough if you don’t have any luggage to carry though

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially in sorting a taxi for us in the morning when most companies were booked up Really chill place to explore and relax, private onsen was superb (we didn’t try the public areas) Dinner was amazing - there’s a few fixed courses and then you get options for the main courses which was a nice touch You can help yourself to a wide variety of (non-alcoholic) drinks in the lounge - we enjoyed trying lots of these!

I loved the room with tatami and private onsen. The lounge and the drink counter were amazing. The feeling is super positive as soon as you enter the door, it’s like a spa. I suggest at least 2 nights to fully enjoy che place. Public onsen need a renovation maybe. Difficult to find the meeting point for the shuttle. Overall, relaxing and peaceful stay. I’d love to come back.

Location not as central for those who aren't driving, its located up on a hill away from Hakone town - free shuttle available

Modern and beautifully designed hotel, rooms were spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast was great and there's a cosy lounge area with a great selection of teas, coffee, yuzu spritz etc. Excellent pool and onsen facilities!

The location is quite far but the hotel suggests shuttles that make it up. Just make sure you register upfront.

The location is a little far from the Gora station and you need to book shuttle bus for your trips to the central Gora area. Taxis are also available to and from Gora station and cost about 1400yen one way.

Very modern, extremely clean and well presented hotel with European feel. I really loved the free flowing gourmet tea selection at the lobby with free drink bottle provided by the hotel. Although we did see some families with small kids, it is recommended for couples due to its romantic nature of the hotel. Would definitely come back here again!

Dinner, even though outstanding quality and served with explanations from the server what we were about to eat, was quite expensive as well as wine and other drinks which were not included.

Very beautifully designed spacious rooms and bathrooms. I loved the thermal pool and onsen. We loved walking around the hotel in provided “ house wear” which was very comfortable. The food was outstanding, both breakfast and dinner. The selection of free tea was amazing.

This was the most beautiful stay we had in Japan. The hotel and the premises are a whole experience. The staff was very welcoming and even upgraded our room when they saw we came with two toddlers. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly!

Gorgeous facility with very helpful staff. Great onsen and thermal pool. Delicious breakfast and loved the drinks counter - especially the yuzu compote/syrup. This place feels like a mix between Japanese traditional style and a spa everywhere you go inside.

It is a little far but the shuttle is VERY accommodating! I would not eat at their restaurant, it’s very overpriced and just okay. The food in town is incredible.

I thought the whole experience was excellent from start to finish - if I had to call out one critique, it was a bit challenging to locate the shuttle at the station upon arrival.

The dinner service was excellent - I really appreciated that many of the ingredients were local, too.

The entire property was immaculate and so comfortable! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. It snowed while we were there so having the hot springs was wonderful. The pool was so relaxing. We took advantage of the steam room and sauna. We honestly didn’t want to leave. The shuttle bus provided was very convenient too! Loved the breakfast and just know to make reservations for dinner if you plan on eating dinner there at night.
