Restaurant was expensive and it's hard to get around the area easily without a car. If you have dinner at the hotel, it's equivalent of having the room for another night or two!

Not your typical onset resort stay, as this place is fairly modern which we loved. Great for families, our daughter enjoyed having a pool, urban farm and garden to run around. Staff were helpful and always had a smile on their face

The room was identified as Tatami but didn't appreciate how raising ourselves from a low bed and sitting in low chairs would affect us "older" folk. Didn't detract from the visit. Be aware the hotel restaurant books out quickly the day before you want to eat.

The location was lovely. The hotel was beautifully appointed. Facilities provided were of a high standard with an area providing refreshments. There were, also, washing/drying machines available. Breakfasts were generous and fresh (but limited choices). Staff were very attentive (but not obtrusive).

There was an onsen tax which we weren’t aware of that we had to pay at the end of our stay, but it wasn’t much.

The property was so relaxing and had a very peaceful vibe. It was super clean and we loved the pool & onsen areas. Having our own private onsen was extra special.

Set in the middle of Nature .with a vegetable garden- They serve vegetables from garden for breakfast which is simply excellent and delicious. Japanese bath from thermal springs is simply the best

Everything and everyone was great. Wish the beds were softer.

The breakfast was great, but a bit disappointed with the dinner. If I had to do the stay again I would have opted out of it. But maybe other people liked it.

My only minor complaint was that the hotel manager refused to put the 2 twin beds together as a double for us in one of the rooms as it was labelled a ‘twin’ room, even though the beds slid together and was the same as a ‘king’ room. All it needed was a king sheet 🤷🏻‍♀️

The hotel was beautiful, serene and luxurious in gorgeous surroundings that made us not want to leave. The facilities were wonderful. We felt really comfortable and relaxed even with 3 children, and they felt really spoilt.

Only few staff members knew English well enough to communicate with customers. The location is a bit far way from restaurants and a car is needed to arrive to the hotel, as the road is too narrow to walk safely alongside cars

The room, public spa and swimming pool and the restaurant were very modern and elegant, clean and tidy. We also used the laundry and microwave facilities and they were excellent. The open bar, non alcoholic drinks only, had an incredible range of hot beverages. Alcoholic beverages were available upon small charge. The breakfast was elegant and change every day. The staff was helpful. The private spa was private and well equipped.

The hotel is the perfect place we needed to relax after Tokyo and before our trip in the mountains. The comfort of the hotel, the amazing nature around, the impeccable service, and the relaxing Onsen were the perfect blend. We did have dinner as well, the Italian menu and it was very good, with small but multiple and diverse portions. The dinner was a little rushed as there are 2 services and the restaurant had to be prepared, but it worked for us since we were already hungry. All in all, the kids loved it and we enjoyed every moment.

The hotel is located on a hillside, so getting to nearby convenience stores is a bit difficult without a car. Not many staff speak English, but you can use a translator.

The heated pool and sauna were great. It was relaxing. Complimentary herbal water, tea and coffee were conveniently available in the lounge. I also appreciated the gift of the original bottle. The hot spring bath set up on the balcony of the room was great, but I was concerned that the balcony fence was too low and would be visible from the outside. Please note that you need to make a reservation for dinner at least one day in advance and that the starting time of dinner is fixed in two parts. The only food available at the hotel is Western food, so if you want Japanese food, you will need to go elsewhere.

Breakfast! We wish they have more options rather than just Western Breakfast. We were expecting to have Japanese Breakfast since we were in Japan .

no one helped moving the luggages and i needed to move them upstairs with two elevators, the hallways was long!

it’s newly renovated, it’s modern, new and clean, the outdoor onsen was great, breakfast not much choices but the veggies were fresh and pudding was good.
