How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Loved the daily towel replacement and rubbish collection. Short walk to akasaka station and akasaka-Mitsubishi station, this made exploring Tokyo very easy. Room was very clean and modern

The staff at the cafe were rude when we sat down with our friends that ate breakfast, and they went back upstairs to grab some things. They kicked us out because we hadn't ordered anything and the friends that had ordered had left (and threw away some unfinished juice)
Good connections to everywhere you'd want to go in Tokyo, and quiet/local enough feel unlike some of the more busier places (eg Shinjuku/Shibuya)

If you are wanting shopping on your doorstep then this is not for you. You have to train it for any decent shopping. That said it’s only a couple of train stops away

Room space was small. Needed little arrange to put in my check-in size suitcase. But given the value I’m getting, I can handle that.
The location is super convenient. Easy access to Tokyo metro and lots of food choices around. Was able to reach Ginza and Shinjuku within in 30min max. Staffs were all friendly and were fluent in English. Room was clean and very quiet. Would recommend to light sleeper.

The rooms are a bit small, but that was expected.
OMO3 is a cute hotel in Akasaka. Our street was lively but not loud, giving us plenty of options to eat after a long travel day. Staff were incredibly kind, and I loved the flower vases in the lobby that you could pick out for your room.

A deeper clean would have been nice to see, under the beds was particularly dirty, found items from previous guests under there

The rooms were a little small. No room to put your suitcase without utilising the bed and stand.
The motel was clean and the location was convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I loved the early free visit in the surrounding of the hotels with historical places to visit. Although the guide was only Japanese speaking guide, she was very dedicated with prepared material in English.

There really isn't anything we didn't like. We'd stay there again.
It's a great place with super friendly staff. They also organize a lot of activities for guests, so make sure to leave some time and explore Akasaka with them! The rooms are very comfy and clean with all amenities you can expect.

The rooms are on the a smaller size, there’s no place to put your luggage really.
Very convenient location close to subways and plenty of food options all around. Loved the amenities, specially the bath salts for a great bath and soaking your feet on the tub after walking all day; loved the comfy hotel pijamas as well.

The washing basin in the bedroom which is not practical; too shallow for washing face; would be better to provide a string to hang clothing in the bathroom
I love the location and ambience of the hotel; friendly staff; like the sofa corner in the room; bath salt and coffee are complementary

You couldn’t really make the aircon colder than 25celcius. It was like cool but hot at the same time.
I absolutely loved this hotel. The location was so convenient, the train station is close by with the elevator, the room was cleaned everyday, the staff were very friendly. Lots of food around the area. Donki was walking distance. It was a great experience. Would stay again.

The room is a little small but not too bad by tokyo standard, at least there is a sitting area and has everything essential.
Location is great. Several subway lines, restaurants, cafes and convenience stores nearby. It's easy to travel to anywhere in Tokyo and its outskirt.

the toilet area could be a bit bigger so I can get up from the seat without hitting the wall. another couple more inches of knee room would be perfect!.

I didn't like the hand basin being in the bedroom and I didn't like the bathroom layout. Breakfast choices were limited.
Great location close to metro and plenty of choices to dine out. Great 24/7 Seven 11 across the street.
