Plat Hostel Keikyu Asakusa Karin is incredibly good value for money, clean & centrally located close to 4 train lines with great access to both Narita & Haneda, the Sumida River overlooking Skytree, the Asakusa area close to Sensoji, restaurants & Kappabasshi St which is a great area since you get a more authentic feel of Old Tokyo walking in the backstreets. The room while simple is everything you need, there’s space for your luggage in your room. The beds are also very comfortable for a good sleep and the room is clean. I stayed here twice so had a private room with private bathroom but with the shared bathroom you’re sharing with a max of 6 other guests which is really good for hostel standards. There’s also a large rooftop terrace with great views of Tokyo Skytree and it’s a bonus to have a laundry. The staff were also super friendly, always happy to chat with guests & give great local recommendations. This is a great budget option for those visiting Tokyo

- Don't have elevator. But low building is ok. - The wall isn't soundproof. You will hear next door when they're talking. - Rubbish Bin is too small.

- Restroom and Shower room is inside the room. - Staff also nice. - Location is near the subway station, Tokyo sky tree and residence area. - Amenities in the residence is nice. Bed and pillow is good.

I cannot complain at all. I had a great time. I liked the area - it seemed more calmed down - perfect after a day in Shibuya. The toilets are in separated little rooms - so you really have your own space. I really liked that - small and fine.

The rooms were quite small. We got the 3 bed unit and there wasn't really much space to even open our suitcases. Also during our stay, there were some girls that were hogging the communal spaces, like talking late on the phone late at night in the powder room (which is where you would brush your teeth/dry your hair) and even bringing their suitcases there so it was very awkward to use. Of course, this isn't the fault of the hostel but it is what happens when you have to share bathrooms/sink areas.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They even helped us move our luggage onto the third floor as there are no elevators in this hostel. In general the room was clean and I actually enjoyed the pillows and comforters provided.

I’m calm residential area, but at the same time incredibly well located (7min walk to the temple and to the metro line that takes you directly all over Tokyo). Very nice staff that speaks well English and the cleanest place I ever stayed. This is perfect place for recover after day of visiting. It is not a party hostel, it’s perfect for people who look for comfort and peaceful rest.

Everything! So clean like no one was ever there. Bed was super comfortable for me. AC and humidifier in the room. Bathroom and shower in the room and also additional in the hallway. Laundry was also important for me which the hostel offered. Staff super friendly! The hostel has a nice roof top terrace as well.

The dorm room storage is metal so makes a lot of noise when people are grabbing their stuff. Also the place is regularly cleaned but still little bits of pink in the women’s shower

It's a bit physically inconvenient if you have large luggage to get up and down the staircase, and the bigger you are, the more cramped it will feel but it's not bad.

It would be a bit uncomfortable for anyone who have large luggage, as there was no lift in the building and you would need to carry it going upstairs.

Very near to Asakusa station, just a walking distance across the bridge. Nice spot to take Skytree photo too! Also walking distance to Nakamise Street & Sensoji Temple. The room is quite large for us couple with big luggages. Boleh solat dengan selesa, ruang luas. A very clean shower room & toilet. Would recommend everyone to stay here!

The room is not spacious enough especially when all of us have big luggages. No elevator only stairs. The common area is not big enough and only open from 8.00 am till 23.00 pm

It was close to Asakusa Station which has direct access to Haneda Airport. It was clean and homey. They have rooftop with Tokyo Skytree view

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very nice always ready to answer to our questions with a sincere smile 😊 and the accommodation is in the Tokyo quarter I prefer, asakusa, quiet and close to the metro station. We will definitely go there again when back in Tokyo!!

There are no elevators, so you have to carry your luggage with the stairs. Common area/lobby is quite small, but comfortable!

Area is very quiet, hostel design quite cozy, and the staffs are chill and friendly. The bunk bed is futon in a wooden capsule.
