The rooms are kinda small, so it can be hard to manage a big suitcase.

The location of the hostel is great, only a few minutes to walk from the station and to Odawara castle. Even though it is a small hostel it provides everything you need, even a small kitchen. There is also an awesome hangout area where you can eat, relax and get to talk to other guests. During our trip through Japan we stayed twice at plum hostel because of its cozy atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and speaks English very well.

There was no general sink to wash hands upon coming (back) inside. No soap in the toilet rooms.

Only two toilets and two showers, not separate by gender, for all the guests.

Would appreciate if they had separate defined men and women washrooms with dustbins.

The people were cooperative, the place was tiny but comfortable. The kitchen was clean and accessible too.

It was very humid inside the hostel and there wasn’t any space where you could have unpack your luggage or even store it. Also the price-performance ratio was not right for me.

there is a hole on the wall near the bed i was, on the mix dorm. curtains are good, but could be a little wider to cover the whole side of the bed.

Based on the rental and i don't think this would be all what i got. clean bed and washroom.

Location is good bcs of near the train station and there are some convenient stores with restaurants. There is a big mall just when coming out the train station but i don't have chance to walk around as i got there late and left early.

Dormitory is a bit small if you have a lot of luggage and bed curtains could be improved.

Lovely place close the station and to the castle. Plenty of restaurants to have diner nearby, clean common spaces and even bits of informations about how to get to Hakone (and best onsen ;) ) in the cozy shared area.

Where they had NO towels. I was in a pickle realizing there were no towels after showering.

It had warm feeling to it. Compact but everything was there.

The kitchen facilities were small and the female room was also small, when I stayed here 4/6 beds were occupied and with everyones suff it just felt that little bit cramped. This wasnt an issue for me, but it's something to keep in mind, you will be closely aquainted with your fellow travellers.

I really enjoyed my stay here and it was a wondeful way to meet fellow travellers. It's just a short walk from Odawara station and easily accessible. The staff are very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here. The showers were great!! The beds were also very comfortable! The bunk itself felt very spacious.

Nothing about the property but lots of noise inside the room. Maybe put some reglementation after 11PM.

Cheapest option to stay in Odawara. It was efficient, clean and friendly staff.

Decent place, but but strange as the staff are only there for a couple hours a day so you basically check yourself in and figure it out for yourself, it's a place to sleep for the night at the very least in a decent location!

There's abit of stairs up to the hostel, and the room are not as spacious, carrying bigger size luggages might be a little inconvenience. More suitable for those who travelling light. Personally think that the cloth toilet seat cover is not necessary. It's better to do without it because it's easier for the user to wipe the toilet seat for hygiene purpose. Toiletries and towel for rent available with 100yen each

I like the location. Not far from the train station. And few minutes walks from food and convenient stores. Bed and shower room is clean. Good for a short stay and backpacker/ light travelling.
