Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Everything. Rooms were small but cozy. First night after 3 nights in japan that I was able to sleep a full night. Shower and tub was great. Location was amazing with Kinnai Station just 2 minutes away. Chill street to walk on as well. Definitely coming back here.

United StatesVery cool hotel, somewhat hidden away on a side street, with an austere, elegant feel. Bedroom was a huge low futon on a step-up in a tatami room. All black with a white bed. Shower/bath tub Japanese style, which was very enjoyable. Very private and quiet. A great section of Yokohama, with lots going on outside, with some fun restaurants. Wonderful spot that we hope to return to.

MalaysiaOverall the colour theme is a little dark but it's not a deal breaker. We rented a car but the parking at premise is very expensive so the car was parked a little further away.
A good size room with sufficient facilities. We only brought 1 mid-size suitcase to share but the room has sufficient space to accommodate at least another 2 huge suitcases. The hotel lobby is quite small but they do offer free coffee, and take your own amenities kit. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.

Fantastic room with all sorts of special conveniences. The in-room bathroom included a shower/soaking tub which was fantastic. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff did everything they could to make our stay perfect. I was really impressed.

The rooms are beautiful, and have a traditional Ryokan feel to them, the beds are huge and the bathrooms are really spacious and feel like a mini spa. Loved this hotel.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly from the time we checked in to check out. The hotel was also very near to trains stations, restaurants and shopping.

United StatesThe room was very small, I couldn’t open my suitcase if that gives a degree of how small the space was. The sauna was extremely hot and I couldn’t regulate the temperature. On a related note the room was way too warm and there was no way to cool it. This is a budget Ryokan so if you want the experience without the price tag I guess it may be worth it if people run cold.
The design of this Ryokan was nice, but felt a bit like a hotel versus a true Ryokan. The staff was courteous and helpful.
