Breakfast was not satisfactory. It was a very simple breakfast. It was just one piece of chicken with rice and miso soup.

The room was very clean and there were disposable razors and toothbrush at the lobby. The room was also well heated and was spacious for 2 people. The toilet was also very clean and comfortable.

I think they can improve their breakfast. When we were there, we did not enjoy it.

When we stayed in this hotel it was still new. You can do self-check-in and check-out. It's close to train and bus stations. Also, the area is relatively close to the market Nishiki Market. They have a laundry room which is convenient for travelers who are traveling for many days. They have early check-out so they provide lockers where you can keep your luggage while you continue exploring the places.

Nothing to complain about.

We really enjoyed staying at this place - the location is very convenient as you have train station (Omiya) as well as restaurants, supermarket, convenient store etc all a few steps away or in walking distance. The room is rather large (compared to most Japanese hotels) and the large bed very comfy. You can walk to Kawaramachi and also to Nijojo (Nijo Castle). The area is also perfect if you like to do morning jogging/walking. Staff speaks English and was very helpful. Online Checking easy to use. I liked the breakfast although some people might still feel hungry afterwards, but I can see that they try to avoid food waste. And there are plenty of places nearby in case you'd need some more breakfast. Also they care about the quality of the food which is appreciate - quality over quanity! I will book this place again when in Kyoto next time.

I would have liked a bath but didn't expect one.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful, showed me how and where to catch a taxi, helped with my luggage storage, and lent me a charger for my phone. The hotel itself is a few steps away from the train station and a whole network of bus stops. It is a manageable walk from Kyoto station if you only have a backpack, otherwise just a couple of stops on the bus, and only 1800yen by taxi. also a 10 minute walk, or 2 bus stops from downtown Kyoto. The breakfast was Japanese style and quite filling without being extravagant. It did come with bottomless coffee, tea, and juice, which was also great.

The complimentary breakfast was very tasty and just enough :) Staff was very friendly and the amenities and rooms were really nice! My room didn't have a bathtub, but the rain shower was really nice, so I didn't miss anything!
