Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilWe really enjoyed our staying at PROSTYLE RYOKAN. The room was very good and clean. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and well served. Free drinks at the hotel lobby was a pleasant surprise! We really enjoyed it! We look forward to staying at PROSTYLE RYOKAN on our next Naha trip.

Hong KongThe room was big and clean! Breakfast is exactly the same everyday, after the second day it becomes tooo much.... Having said that stick to the Japanese version as the continental breakfast is full on processed food...

United KingdomParking is overpriced. 2100 yen a night is quite alot for hotel guests, should be at least discounted or similar to other parking next door. Bar/reception staff struggle with speaking English. Rooms are too hot even with the aircon on the coldest setting.
Clean room, free bar every night, breakfast was nice and a good size. Loved the lady at breakfast always happy and laughing. Other free items can be found in reception which is handy if you need them. Good location, would stay here again.

SingaporeThe price for parking was 2100 yen a day. We could get an overnight parking in carparks nearby in walking distance for half that amount as we did not park our car there the entire day. It would be great if they could give their guest complementary parking.
Has to be the best hotel I’ve been to in okinawa so far. Japanese styled room, separate toilet and bathroom. The toilet is big enough for a decent sized bath tub. Breakfast in the morning was a full set jap breakfast with a sukiyaki hot pot even.

SingaporeHave to walk 15-20min to the main Kokusai Dori street. I was told that parking was first come first served, but upon arrival, staff informed me that I had to reserve the slot with them in advance.
Clean and friendly staff. If you have breakfast included, you’re also entitled to a free cocktail at their bar daily.

Hong Kong1. There was this vibration a like from a phone that’s set on vibrate that I can always hear in my room near the bed that happens once every hour or so? (Definitely not my phone though) I’m not sure if it was from the A/C or what but it wasn’t too bothersome I had to complain during my stay. 2. Although the bed was ‘kingsized’, it was 2 double beds put together and I didn’t really like the gap that I can feel when I lay in the middle. 3. You have to arrange the time you’ll get your breakfast a day prior which is a little troublesome especially if you changed your mind on the day. 4. You only get to choose between ‘Western’ and ‘Japanese’ food for breakfast.
1. I like the modern interior of the hotel and how spacious my room was. 2. The bath was separated from the toilet so no worries about keeping the toilet and sink area wet. 3. The staff were pleasant and very accommodating. There was this particular lady in the dining area that I really liked during my stay. I could feel her genuine hospitality my whole stay. She even held my hands when I told her there won’t be any breakfast for me the following day since I was already leaving. It was a shame I forgot to take her name. 4. It was walking distance to 2 stations of the Monorail. 5. There was a very close Family Mart to the hotel, just around the corner. 6. Drinks on the bar were on the house.

AustraliaI’m a light sleeper so the location was a little noisy especially if you wanted to open your window for some fresh air, but ear plugs worked a treat.
The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. House keeping were on top of everything with fresh towels and water every day. But the breakfast staff were the absolute BEST, so friendly and welcoming. I would stay again just to see them!

United StatesReally nothing, would be nice to have access to rooftop view, or a gym, sitting area not that close to check in front desk staff.
Breakfast is interesting, not buffet but there are enough varieties. There is a window behind sliding window, with view. Tatami floor made the room filled with Japanese theme.

Accommodated a last minute reservation change. Adorable decor. Loved the all day open bar, popcorn and yummy furufuru toppings! Nice that hotel had a private sauna, although we weren’t able to snag a booking. Generous sized breakfast and lovely ryokan offering. Bar staff were fun and helpful with local tips :)

United KingdomNone!
The aesthetic of the place as well as the amenities and perks were delightful! The breakfast (had the Japanese breakfast) served was delicious and fulfilling! Also loved that drinks were unlimited throughout my stay! They also provided new pjs and towels every night even if you’ve chosen to opt out for the room cleaning. The location is extremely convenient, family mart is right next door, many tour buses pick up locations are max 9mins walk. Ryubo department store is also in that area. Perfect location if you want to avoid the tourist buzz but still be within walking distance.
