Loved everything- we are in our late 60’s but managed the 3 flights of stairs - very spacious even though bed was low - was comfortable- reception kept luggage and put in our room for us later - lovely people!

Funky decor but spacious with view and fantastic location - $ 15 Uber from station - reception organised personal Uber eats with bottle wine for 2 and presented it on little table with wine glasses ! Laundry easy - so many great things to do and see! Will come again

The room was very spacious and had everything we needed for a few days in Kyoto. The location was fantastic, close to everything we needed, and we enjoyed the view from the roof. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, I'd stay here again.

Very charming hotel in the middle of the most popular part of Kyoto. We loved coming home to these streets and seeing the Hokanji Temple from our room. The staff is so nice, they even carried our luggage up and back down for check-in and -out, while we were exploring the city. The room is spacious and very prettily decorated. There is nothing we didn’t like. Even the scent in the lobby was lovely.

Everything was great! Only minor downside was the coin laundry only takes 100yen coins so if you don’t have them you can’t use the facilities.

Very cool industrial fit out of the room. The location was amazing, close to a lot of popular shrines and streets. 5min walk to bus stop and 10min walk to main strip of shops in Gion. Bed was super comfy too, felt like a cloud! Staff are very kind and helpful.

Some clothes hangers but no cabinet so we had to keep our suitcases in the room. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast which would be a nice add-on but this was clear when we booked.

Beautifully designed hotel with clean and practical rooms, with a huge amount of attention to detail. The location couldn't be better, with the Yagada Pagode and other major sites around the corner. And even compared to Japanese standards, the staff was very helpful.

Maybe you could promote more the bar, or ceeate a honnesty bar where people can relax and help themselves and then write down what they had.

The hotel couldn’t have been located in a better spot. It had a beautiful view of surrounding Kyoto and was within walking distance of a lot. The interior of the hotel was spacious and beautiful with many modern and clean fixtures.

There is not an elevator in this hotel, but the friendly stuff will help you to bring luggages to your room. I appreciate it a lot.

Excellent location, and this hotel has one of the best views around the Kiyomizu Temple. The modern design and facilities are fascinating to me. Also very friendly staff.

Best location!close to yasaka pagoda (1-2 min walk) and walking distance to more temples nearby! Bus to city (kyoto station) is about 5 min walk. shops/ramen +restaurants are close --so many to choose! Very touristy area--can be crowded .. RC hotel is just excellent! Free WiFi, has laundry machines. Friendly staff!

No early check in options. Travelling during summer (July) can be very tricky as can be very hot.outside--bring wide brim hats and yes--umbrellas and those mini mist fans!

Perfect location in kyoto...near Yasaka Pagoda--1-2 minute away! Plus nearby temples all in walking distance (10-30 min).should have stayed longer in kyoto ! Bus going to city is about 3-5 min walk. Very friendly staff!

Super location . Price is inexpensive. The Best part is walking at old history street by evening, One of the best memory in Kyoto

Beautiful hotel in the center of Gion. Excellent location for seeing many major sights and reaching downtown. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We would definitely return.
