Have to pay to use the towels and yukata or otherwise you are expected to bring your own towel. This accommodation is at least 1.5km away from the walking street and restaurants.

Great bird's eye view from this accommodation, can see Atami Castle and the sea. Friendly staff, private onsen and free usage of the common kitchen area and utensils.

It was a hike or tricky and pricey bus rides to and from the venue, plus we had to lug our luggage to the third floor. The Wi-Fi was also iffy in public areas, although it was mostly stable on the third floor where our room was, at least. Wi-Fi didn't work in the onsen, so just focus on your bathing.

The service was superb, the view was great, the private onsen was fun (and thankfully affordable since we packed our own towel), and the family room was huge. Also, the complimentary ice cream after the onsen was so fun. The host's conversationism felt like a modern ryokan, though the place itself felt more like a mansion. The kitchen, dining room, and living room were so spacious we probably didn't even need the family-sized room!

Since the rooms are traditional, the walls are very thin. We were not supposed to make noise or be loud after 11pm, but our neighbours were extra loud long after that time. They only stopped once we knocked on the wall to express our dissatisfaction.

The host was very friendly, the facilities were clean, comfortable and enjoyable. We had the family deluxe room with our own private bathroom and a very nice view of the castle and the sea. The onsen experience was also very nice, you have to book the time you want to use it when you check in though, so depending on if you want to go out or not, do not check in too late to be able to choose your timeslot!

Very minor: The location is up a hill so make sure to take the bus or a taxi if you have luggage. The host reminds you of this so it should be no problem!

Clean stay with the friendliest host. We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

From Atami Station, by Taxi or Bus is all convenient. The place is new, the senior man taking care of the place, is very helpful and friendly. He try his best to make the guest comfortable. The ocean view is splendid. The common facilities are clean and well equipped . The onsen is natural salt, very nice.

The manager was fantastic; amazing views of the ocean from the kitchen/dining/lounge areas; and guest rooms were bright, clean and comfortable. My favorite part was being able to wear a Yakata and soak in the onsen!!

Far from restaurants, 7/11 and commodities, you have to think ahead and plan your meals a bit. The commond space is great so you can easily have a nice meal at the hotel. Wifi not the best but ok enough

This place is very special for its quietness and pace. The room is very clean, very spacious with a very comfortable fouton, tv, hair drier, ensuite bathroom. Fridge, freezer and microwave and in the common area with a big dining room to work or eat. The owners are very very welcoming and positive people. Inside there is also a private onsen with hot water directly from the sorgent, clean and great facility. There is an extra tax to pay on site for onsen priviledge, i believe 150 yien per person per night. We took these days to rest and work a bit, we would stay there again!

Nothing, this stay exceeded my expectations.

Room was much more spacious than expected, basically a suite with a dining area and balcony. Its location high in the cliffside offers a beautiful view of the town and beach below from both the common space and the room. Private onsen is included with flexibility to schedule your bath time. Manager was extremely warm, helpful and accommodating, communicated in English via Google Translate and offered to drive us to the train station and provided ice pops after our onsen bath.

This was an incredible stay!! The host was incredibly friendly and really made us feel so welcome. The onsen was so lovely and the property has an incredible view. It is on the hill so if you don’t want to walk or don’t have a car be aware it’s a bit of a climb but it’s worth it for the view! The duvets and beds were really comfortable, AC was great and the place was absolutely spotless, very clean. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would love to stay here again!
