Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The rooms were spacious for japanese standards. Very good and comfortable bed too. It is also very calm and you don't hear much from the other rooms or the hallway.

AustriaJust some wardrobe or shelves and hangers shall be better to add in the room, since there is no place to put our clothes.
With best location in the city, clean rooms and friendly staff we enjoyed the stay. Everything was new and properly working.

GermanyThe breakfast starting only at 07:00 is too late I think. Moving breakfast begin to 06:00 would be better.
The rainshower and massage chair in the room are great! Room size is appropriate for one person. The room was clean. Breakfast is good (in a Vietnamese restaurant that's in the hotel).

SerbiaI paid for 3 nights stay 750€, and day after price went down to 570€. I understand that this can happen, but in that cases would be correct that people from reception try to give better room to person who paid 30%more than others. This was not the case, I got the worst possible room , with realy terrible view (like in prison). Room next to me was much better, and paid less. Generally speaking, I would never racommand this hotel to anybody. Position is pretty ugly, you don’t have any assistence from the stuff, was not possible to ask anything, and even they refuse to call a taxi on my departure…I stayed in Ginza in 2 more hotel in that period, paying less money for definetely better hotel. IrelandIt is not really a business hotel, the wi-fi was poor, the desk in the room was tiny without any chair but only a built in bench with no back support. No laundry room either, which I would expect from a business hotel in Japan. Breakfast was only OK.

Taiwanbreakfast in a vietnamese restaurant is kinda weird. Didn't appreciate the check-in machine even though you check-in with the staff you need to get to a machine which will allocate you a room number and a key card. I dont see the necessity of this double check-in...

ThailandWalk from Ginza, Shimbashi station around 5 mins, if you carry many BIG luggage, it's a bit far but only happen when check-in / out. If you want to shopping a bit far from Harajuku, Shinjuku (25-40 mins by total time walk-train-walk-train-walk) but it's not hard to go there.
We like the room, big bathtub, massage chair (help us a lot after shopping day), Good wifi, close to Don quijote ginza (only walk 15 seconds from hotel not from your room :D), Nearby Shopping and Restaurant, walk from Ginza, Shimbashi station around 5 mins. If you hungry by midnight, you can go to the corner of street and visit Family Mart (walk 10 secs). Walk from hotel to Tsukiji Market around 15 mins, it's a bit great to walk because you can see many things and make you hungry before visit "FOOD's MARKET". Easy to go to "TEAMLAB" if you like digital art museum.

United StatesThe Hankyu Group has always been amazing about managing their hotels. I really love the concept of the the Remm Hotel series. So very clean and comfortable. Contemporary and modern design. Always a good night sleep. The breakfast at the Remm Plus Ginza is great; besides the choices of delicious and healthy Western and Japanese style food, it also provides Vietnamese Pho soup for a change. The location of Remm Plus is very convenient. You have the easy access to Shimbashi Station or Ginza Station. If you land in Haneda, the train takes you directly to Shimbashi. Station and it only takes 5 minute walk to the hotel. There is a nice coin laundry located in Shiodome which is within walking distance from the hotel. Don Quixote is right next door and the Apple Store is right around the corner. No to mention the endless designer stores and department stores all within walking distance.

CanadaExtra hidden Remm Plus fee, despite Booking.com promise not to allow additional charges! Very, very bad start to visit as extra hidden fee in form of $6.00 ‘tax’ was EXTORTED deceitfully pretending to be official tax that had to be paid before hotel would give room key cards to us even though payment had already been taken via Booking.com who claim prices do not have any hidden fees! Made us very angry using credit card second time just to get room keys and using strange machine in REM Plus lobby.
Focus on healthy sleep and regeneration.

United StatesRude, incompetent staff refusing to help print a ticket I needed. This is not a 3.5 star hotel at all. Wouldn’t stay here again. This is a terrible and lazy hotel. Upon checking in, they wouldn’t allow me to pay at the front desk and instead told me to go to kiosk machine, when I need to select my currency and get a receipt. Second, they refused to help me print a black and white page of a ticket I needed (because Japan doesn’t accept a QR CODE). The staff refused and even the manager refused. Lazy, unmotivated hotel—absolutely terrible. Date of stay: November 2022
The rooms were clean and modern.
