How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Great location and service provided, everything you need from towels, toiletries and PJ sets. Bed we’re comfy too and clean. Definitely recommend this place.

I would have loved to see a Japanese bath or at least a bathtub
The facilites and the accessories, the hairdryers were amazing. And the staff were really friendly, willing to help and everyone spoke English

The best hostel I've ever stayed at in my life! My experience was incredible and I highly recommend it. The dynamics of the well-divided cabins are perfect. It really surprised me.

I had a late check-in and thus I extended my sleep until 11 am. I was awaken by the movement of the cleaning staff, but maybe this is the scheduled cleaning time and I wasn't made aware of it.
The front desk staffs were courteous and helpful. Facilities were clean and I appreciate the towels provided every day. The quality of the toiletries are good. There were enough space for me and it was good that they provide rental of mini electric fans. There were enough space for my luggage and other things under the bed. It's also good that water, coffee, and tea were provided on the common area. Will definitely go back.

Great location with plenty of food options nearby. The cabinet and the bed were larger than I had imagined. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I believe it's a good price for what the hotel offers.

We loved our stay here! The pods are very comfy & the amenities were great! The powder room had everything you might need & plenty of room to get ready in the morning. It was also a plus that the room had space to keep your belongings under your bed. The women’s only lounge was a plus and also included a mini fridge. The main lounge had basic drinks available & plenty of room to relax, as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Not too far from the main train station, about a 10 minute walk.

Beautiful capsule hotel with nice amenities and lovely staff. Generous luggage storage under your bed with a lock for security, and separate smaller lock-box for valuables in your sleeping pod. The women-only floor had a bathroom area (toilets, showers, and sinks) as well as a separate makeup room (sinks, hair dryers, and styling tools), so there is lots of space to get ready when you need to. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I would be happy to stay here again!

Only thing I'd change is the room temperature at night was a bit hot, paired with only a doona i slept quite hot! Id recommend turning the heater down a few degrees. Otherwise, love staying here!

Too much plastic wastage, toothbrushes, etc. Why would you proved a new toothbrush every day? Shibuya and Shinjuku is 40 minutes away.
Great bathrooms and very comfortable ambience. Asakusa is a nice area. Lots of tourist attractions.

Amazing locations ! Near great food options, not too far from stations. Literally such a comfortable location, for the all female floor. Everything about the design is thoughtful, the makeup room with basic toiletries and hair appliances to use!
