PhilippinesNot that we didn't like but more like it's a bit of a walk to the main covered street where the restaurants and shopping is, it's doable on winter during the day but at night..... it seems so far haha but for traveling via train or bus, it's very convenient.
Perfect location to be near a subway and bus station. Literally just around the corner. Odori park is just across the street and if you get a room with that view, a nice scene to wake up to. Rooms were generous for japan standard. 2 adult is more than perfect and 2 adults with 2 kids is plenty doable but just have to be clever with luggage storage.

Liked the location next to bus-stop for Airport, next to Odori Park for Ice Festival, close to lots of shopping and eateries. Bonus public bath/onsen on the 14th floor with Soda pops! Staff were extremely helpful despite the hotel being fairly busy. The room was small but quite well designed so we did have enough space (2 people)

Location is good, near to Odori station and right next to Odori park. It has an airport transfer right outside the hotel, which is very convenient if you are flying off from the hotel.

JapanWe had the AC on in the room because the comforter was so hot and there was no sheet. Just a comforter. (There was a fitted sheet of course over the mattress.) I was sweating half the night. A sheet would have been nice to easily pull the comforter back to stay a little cooler while sleeping.
The bed was comfortable and I was very pleased to have decent pillows which are pretty flat in my experience traveling in Japan so far. The pillows at Trinity were a pleasant surprise!

Malaysia1.Location was good 2. Staff Takiya who helped us book 3 taxis outstation. Due to the language barrier and peak season we had difficulty doing this on our own and he was super helpful though he had to make multiple calls and our taxis were there sharp on time the next morning.

SingaporeHowever, the room is very small and narrow and we have difficulty moving around the room with two large luggage for winter. Appreciate that there is coin laundry but it would have been better had some security lock can be applied as anyone can open the washing machine either to add on or remove the items.
We love the location as it is in the heart of the city and the bonus is that the airport shuttle is right in front of the hotel. The hotel is clean and we like it that clean towel and pajamas are changed daily, hung in a nice tote bag on the door even though we were informed that housekeeping is done every third day.
