Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Philippines- The bed could have been softer. - The main light at the center of the room is too bright. - The trash bin in the bathroom is very small
- I was surprised with the size of the room and expected a cramped room for a family of 3, but the room was surprisingly spacious and had room for our luggages - Very generous with toiletries and also had free soup at the lobby in the 2nd floor - The location is accessible to train stations - Staff at the reception are very accommodating and helpful

JapanNothing it’s just like I am going out of the bathroom there is something strange. But it’s manageable.
I love coffee so I like the coffee machine in the lobby. The place is very convenient and close to Tokyo tower. Close to the train stations.

Czech RepublicThis hotel is pretty close to a metro station as well as within 15 minutes of a train station. The staff were very helpful and kind, helped me with my problems when I needed. The rooms are big enough for one person and its clean with a good view of the Tokyo tower (especially beautiful at night). Amenities were self supplied, meaning If you needed a razor, a hairbrush or Just another cup of coffee, you could take them in front of the front desk. I had a good experience here and can recommend this hotel.

United StatesThere was a Szechuan place for lunch and dinner on the second floor which looked OK, I didn't try. But no breakfast option (this didn't matter to me). The hotel is more for solo business stays than for pleasure.
The location was good because of travel connections we needed to other parts of the city. It's just opposite from a bigger, more luxurious hotel, the Celestine where my friends were staying. A short walk to Mita station, and a short walk to some parks and a temple. The place was immaculately clean. Room was small (as usual for Tokyo), smaller than the Celestine, but had everything necessary, and even a desk space for work. Bed was comfortable, and the place was quiet. At the time of writing there is building work going on in the next block so the window looks onto cranes, but I was never bothered by the noise or anything. Staff were helpful.

SingaporeFacilities would be express standard . But very decent stay had coffee and range of teas - all at common lobby which was very eco friendly I thought. So some walking to get your daily coffee fix in advance but all good .
Efficient and staff very helpful. When informed we were 2 adults plus 1 child all rooms set accordingly. We took rose room which was top floor . Simple and enough for a small family. Across 10 mins is public bath , doutor coffee and 24 hours pizza restaurant abou 10 mins walk.

JapanThere is a coin laundry, but no detergent available so you need to remember to bring your own. My window was facing a construction site, which I don't mind but if you're big on views maybe check with them on that beforehand. Still, even though I was directly facing construction I never got any loud noises, so don't worry about that part
Room was very nice, great bathroom, easy access to two subway stations (including Mita on the asakusa line). Daily cleaning, very close to Tokyo tower. Overall very nice experience :)

United StatesNo major concerns. The only minor issue is that the entry to the hotel is on the first floor while the lobby is on the second floor. It seems that the elevators are programmed to stop on the lobby level (second floor) regardless of any passengers entering/exiting the elevator on that floor. The visit was overall still a very positive one and will be happy to return.
Location was within walking distance to multiple train stations, convenient stores, and the reception staff were very friendly and approachable. I cannot speak Japanese that well so I greatly appreciated their level of English proficiency. While we did not need any cleaning of the room during our stay, the staff were kind to leave fresh towels for us daily.

CanadaThe room safe was too small and I couldn't get it to work. There is no way for an ipad or a reader to fit in it. The fridge was on the smaller size and could have been a bit larger. Overall very minor things and the stay was excellent.
The room on the Rose Floor was very comfortable. The amenities in the lobby were great and the coin laundry was clean and available whenever I needed to do laundry. The location is ideal for those who want to stay away from the busier cities but want to access the train and subway lines for sight seeing.

South KoreaRoom is small, but I think this is because of Japanese standards of size, so this is understandable. You will need a translator for accurate communication with front desk.
Very kind and helpful staffs, the room is clean, and the hotel is located at pretty good location. (Close to the Shibakoen and Tamachi station) This hotel offers such things in a very good price.

United StatesWe got 3 beds for the 2 of us, but the beds were pushed together (no space between the middle bed). It was good for the suitcase, but not for a third person. The lobby was on the second floor, so the elevator kept stopping there each time we went up or down. The breakfast offered was just congi.
The location was close to Tamachi Station and my cousin's place.
