Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe bathroom is very small with poor ventilation so it felt very stuffy. The double bed is next to the wall so it’s a little hard to access for two people. Also, the bed felt uncomfortable for me.
The location is great and the staff is very nice and friendly. They provide a lot of free toiletries. The rooms are cute.

ItalyThe only pain point is the lighting inside the room (it was a little bit too dark in my opinion, considering that in the main space where the bed is placed there is no central light on the ceiling, but just a table lamp on the desk.). But I guess it was also related to the style and atmosphere of the building.
The location is really great (5 min-walking distance from Shibuya Station). The room is small, but with all the comforts. If you arrive from Shibuya Station, you can also avoid to cross the bridge in front of the hotel with luggages. Just walk straight 2 minutes more and you can easily cross the street avoiding to carry suitcases or heavy backpacks ;-) I really appreciated that the Reception staff welcomes you every morning with hot coffee and when you get back in the late afternoon/evening they give you everyday a bottle of water for free.

Lovely in-room vintage decor. Great location, within walking distance to Shibuya station. Helpful staff. Good hot tub and strong in-room wifi. The hotel staff was willing to keep our luggage for a few hours even after checkout at no cost. Really appreciated.

It had everything I needed to be comfortable. The hotel is a little hard to find especially because Shibuya is confusing but once you figure out the way it’s alright. The price is unbeatable and the staff are very pleasant and polite. I suppose I was lucky with my room as I have read some other disgruntled customers. I actually liked the key return policy so I wouldn’t lose my keys, and I felt safer knowing that strangers/ unauthorised hotel guests weren’t entering.
