Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaNo elevator but was helped with our luggage on arrival.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room service was amazing. So many extras in the room and the lobby for your use. The room had excellent sound proofing and a bath. Breakfast was delicious. We found the location was good and loved the style/artwork in the room. 10/10, definitely would stay again. Thank you!

One of the best hotels I have stayed in within Japan. Excellent value for money, with breakfast brought to my room every morning. The room was full of little amenities like earplugs, creams, toiletries. Even had a TV in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly.

GeorgiaFirst, it’s important to note that this is a love hotel, not a traditional hotel. That said, it offers everything you might need for a comfortable and well-equipped stay—perfect even if you're heading straight to work afterward. The room includes various amenities such as vending machines, food and breakfast ordering via the TV, music and lighting control from a panel next to the bed, and a bathtub. Each room in the Hotel has a different design, so the style may vary from what you expect, but all are thoughtfully arranged. Complimentary fizzy drinks, tea, cocoa, and some snacks are provided in the room, which is a nice touch. I highly recommend this place for couples—it adds an extra layer of fun and atmosphere to your stay. The location is also excellent: very well connected to the metro system, just a short distance from the castle, and close to scenic riverbanks and walkable paths. Especially during the cherry blossom season, the surroundings are stunning. Overall, one of the best places to stay in the city for both convenience and charm.

CanadaThe staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was amazing! Biggest room we’ve had yet in Japan and it was clean and modern with everything you could need! Free breakfast and free coffee delivered to our room made our day so much easier, meant we didn’t have to leave early in the morning to get food, we could just relax and take our mornings slow which is what we like.

MoroccoIt's actually a love hotel. That's why it's so cheap. The rooms get so cold so you need to use the A/C. If you're on a budget it's a solid choice. If not, avoid.
Next to Osaka castle but pretty far from everything else. The breakfast was mid. Very cheap for what it is.

United KingdomWow, what a crazy and amazing stay! We loved the unique touches that made this hotel so special. The music in the room set the perfect vibe, and having a TV in the bath was such a luxurious experience – definitely a highlight of our trip! The hotel also spoiled us with so many free goodies, from the high-quality creams to the relaxing face masks. It felt like a mini spa retreat in our room. The overall attention to detail, from the entertainment options to the thoughtful amenities, truly made this stay unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back – already missing it!
