It would be better if the host allocated one section or small space for Muslim travelers to do prayer (maybe at the rooftop level). More people will come here.

Toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, and others are provided. Bath and face towels are provided every day. Spacious capsules and comfortable bed. Close to mosque, halal restaurant, Ueno station, Ameyoko Street, and convenience stores. There is a microwave, refrigerator, and mini stove in the kitchen. free flow hot water and tea.

For a hostel, it was very clean and tidy. The shower area was always cleaned well daily. I liked that the lights were motion sensor activated and I also liked that beside my bed there was ample room to keep a bag in my capsule too. The floor space was enough to keep luggage on.

Decent size capsule/bed space, bathroom separate so good enough, luggage is next to beds. Lounge is good, location is decent, close to metro, 10min from Ueno. The safety is question as you can get in at anytime but still is japan, nothing will happen

A long term tenant who is Japanese who happens to live on the same floor, very unfriendly. The fridge is always full, which makes it hard for short term visitors to store foods. Apparently many locals are living in this guest house

Huge bed, clean, free slippers, towels, toothbrush! I also met many awesome people at the lounge! Speaking of the lounge, the lounge is really cozy with sufficient tables and lighting, perfect for those who need to get their work done!

Not much to be done, but whenever anyone moved about the bright lights would automatically come on and even though there is a curtain keeping out most of the light, it would occasionally disrupt sleep.

My only feedback is to get rid of the sensor light in the dorms at night time - it unnecessarily interrupts sleep - a more dim night light for thoroughfares would be much better!

- It seems like anybody could just enter the building and the rooms. There was a door code provided to us but I never came across the door being locked.

- Super clean, as if someone was always cleaning - The bed area was very spacious, didn't feel cramped like in other places - The shower room actually had a both a shower and tub, as well as a separate dressing space with mirror - The immediate surroundings were quiet, but it's quite close to various restaurants. The nearest subway stations not too far away, <10 min walk. - Decent-sized locker, openable with provided number code

The automatic light in the 2F dormitory, it would be amazing if it could be switched off after a certain time at night so it stops getting turned on when people come in and out. Sometimes, they also get up early to get a flight or something, and if you're a light sleeper, it could wake you up.

The cafe/workspace downstairs is really good 👍 You can use it on the day you check out too, it's really flexible.

Bathrooms can be freezing during winter due to vents. Also no lockers to place bags.

It might really cold in the winter, only heater is in the aisle so maybe it’s quite coldfor sleeping.

They are really thorough, and helpful. Having all kind of utilities and also the shampoo and conditioner, etc…
