There's only one toilet and one shower/batch, so when the house is fully booked, you may have to wait a bit. Also, there are no restaurants open during the week, so you'll have to either book dinner in advance via the host (very tasty), or rely on one of the nearby convenience stores.

The room was as pretty as advertised, the hosts very friendly and considerate. Perfect location for a stopover on the Shimanami cycling route.

The listing is a little unclear about food options. You can order breakfast and dinner in advance. It’s probably a good idea because there aren’t many other options. Also it was a little hard to locate using Google maps. I had to ask the mail carrier.

Check in is at 4pm with no exceptions even though we arrived at 3.

The guesthouse is so beautiful, comfortable and clean. We arrived by bicycle after cycling the Shimanami route so arrived exhausted. It is very sweet and delicate, a very traditional home and so special. The hosts were kind and gracious, making efforts to use translations into English which we really appreciated. It was so quiet and I slept very well there.

Amazing experience there while on the Shimanami Kaido. Having our legs sore from 60km of biking, this place was the perfect haven for us and the rooms were really beautiful and spacious. The owners were incredibly kind and caring with the guests. It's even better if you can understand a bit of japanese to communicate better!

I wish yukata was included in the price but the price is already so affordable so I was happy to rent them for a night.

Excellent ryokan. We had one of our favorite meals here and the woman who ran the place was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. I hope to return again in the future.

This was an odd stay to say the least, as if we were staying in someone’s home purely through their goodwill and shouldn’t bother them. This is not a business but a couple renting out extra rooms in their house. We didn’t have access to the kitchen facilities and classical music was playing on the radio exactly until 22:00 which we found odd. We were only allowed to use the shower between 16:00-22:00 and rushed to use it as soon as we arrived around 17:30 because “soon the other guests will come and it will be their turn to use”. There were no breakfast provided even though it’s listed in the amenities on booking page and the property calls itself “bed and breakfast”. When I asked about the possibility of ordering dinner (after seeing it in comments) the night before, I was told that I should’ve ordered 3 days in advance but I hadnt received any communication about this. Ended up going to the convenience store nearby.

Very nice spacious room and towels/shampoo were provided. The owner couple was very kind although language was definitely a barrier in communicating. The place was clean and pretty, provided us with an authentic experience sleeping on the floor.

It would be a good idea to put the English name of your Inn somewhere…we had to check google pictures to make sure it was the correct property. It is listed as restaurant however no food was made available for dinner or breakfast, we were directed to the Lawson for our dinner.

It is a very basic ryukan. The tatami is quite thin and the cover was short for us and there were no other covers available in the room. Rooms are spacious and clean. Only one bathroom and one toilet for all guests.
