Inability to have breakfasts

Could not have breakfast in the hotel as we had not pre booked and even 2 days ahead it was fully booked - disappointing. There had been no indication on the Booking.com web site that pre booking breakfast was necessary

Check in was a little clogged upon our arrival so it took us a while to get to our room. Besides that, everything else was flawless.

As it was not a ryokan, we hoped for a western alternative of the breakfast (but the Japanese breakfast was very good!)

Staff barely spoke English, so it was difficult to communicate, although they tried their best and were really nice! The onsen is nice but quite small and consists of only 1 pool.

The public back is also beautiful, but would have liked to have a little garden or open window to have the sensation of being outside!

The hotel has a very zen feeling to it. The decoration is simple but elegant, combining natural wood and stone, very Japanese, but also feels very comfortable and modern! I loved the fact that I could make my own sachet with wonderful scented natural wood! Than you!

You need to reserve breakfast in advance but it looked beautiful so I would recommend booking it. The location is close to the markets however, it is a 15 minute walk to the castle, gardens and Samurai district. If I had my time in Kanazawa again, I would try to book closer to the main tourist attractions.

Beautiful new hotel with excellent facilities. We were very comfortable in our room. The bed was very large with plenty of space for us and our toddler.

Loved our 2 night stay here! Staff were so lovely and welcoming (we arrived late on a Friday evening). The room was bright and quirky, and the bed was really very comfortable! Thank you! There were complimentary pyjamas which we would have loved to keep or buy, but unfortunately it wasn't possible!

Clean, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. the location was convenient to the train/bus terminal and to Kenroku-en garden and Kanazawa Castle. The Japanese style breakfast was amazing.

everything was great. place is modern and well decorated. beautiful place, great staffs and amenities. has public onsen, a place to make our own cypress wood chip bags, drinks for after the onsen, great location (across from market and 11 min walk from train station or several minute by bus)

Convenient location, across the street from the Omicho market (fresh fish, vegetables, etc.). Very friendly staff. Arrived too early for check-in, but they have no-cost lockers to put luggage while we went to the nearby sites.

Nothing. Everything was as expected.

The room was clean efficient and comfortable. The breakfast alone was an exceptional value. It was Japanese style and therefore beautifully composed and delicious. If you are staying more than a couple of days it may become repetitive. The onsen was a nice way to end the day after sightseeing and dinner. The staff was courteous and non-intrusive. The self-check-in and check-out at the kiosks were equally efficient and seamless.

The whole place was beautifully designed with great attention to detail. From the PJ’s to the soaps. The public bath was also very nice! The staff allowed us to check in early too. Would definitely come back if we are ever back in Kanazawa.

loved the aesthetic and vibe. the Onsen was lovely and had complimentary milk drink to have after your bath as well as some pillow scents to try. staff spoke some English and was extremely helpful with booking dinner for me at a local restaurant. everything was kept really clean and tidy.

Positioning of the table at the end of the platform bed made for very difficult access in the room which was small. Getting in and out of bed quite difficult!

Has a spa feel - lots of natural wood, very light. New facilities.

The rooms are small and are not comfortable for a family stay or for people traveling with lot of luggage. The large beds take up most of the room and the sink was in the sleeping area. there is no closet or shelf space or any place to place clothes. Our luggage remained in the hallway blocking the entrance to the shower and toilet. For a family of 3 this was not ideal.

The ambience here is like staying at a spa resort. Very zen with a public bath on site that’s free to use and pajamas are provided daily for use. There is a great restaurant onsite as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. For the price we got a lot. The baths were amazing and the decor is very beautiful. About 10min walk from the main station.
