Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeBed is hard and pillows are not very comfortable. Costly during the Snow Festival
Good location, near to the Sapporo JR Station and Stellar Place/Daimaru, convenient for shopping. Also within walking distance to Odori Park for the Snow Festival. Very new hotel with nice modern decor and nice smell. Onsen is very nice after cold days seeing the Snow Festival. Buffet breakfast is one of the best I've come across - huge selections and all very fresh and high quality, very well organised despite the number of guests during this busy period. Concierge is very helpful in arranging for transport.

ThailandThe door was locked at midnight and we didn't arrive until 12:30 am, and it wasn't easy to read the Engligh instructions as to how to talk to the staff to open the door.
Great location that was an easy walk from Sapporo station and close to most sightseeing locations within the city. Loved the hot spring baths.

AustraliaThe Solaria was a beautiful place to stay in the heart of Sapporo, right near Sapporo Station. We stayed for three nights for the Sapporo Snow Festival so it was a very busy time at the hotel but everything was still beautifully managed. We didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't comment on that. The rooms and all aspects of the hotel were super clean and very comfortable. The public bath (for hotel guests) was lovely and included an outdoor bath as well. The room was comfortably sized and very reasonably priced, particularly for this very busy time. We also had a beautiful view across to the park with the old Government Building. Highly recommended.

United Statesa bit distant from the Sapporo Snow Festival venue & Susukino Ice carvings.
I would like to recognize Mr. Ito Front/overnight in his help in setting up a meeting in Yokohama using his english & japanese skills. He consistently checked with my wife to the accuracy of the details of the dinner meeting. I would also like to commend Ms. Nomura Front/day for her pleasant assistance in helping me to ship out a parcel. My friend received the box within two days. The rooms were consistent with a mid-level Japanese hotel with adequate space & well-thought out placement.

United StatesThe hotel is well decorated. Feel very high end. The room is pretty spacious, considering the locations. They provided many hangers and detergent for the clothes, which is great as there are many good foods (BBQ) around.

United StatesWe only had 1 tiny window which was blurred out. It wasn't a big deal because there was enough light in the room, but I've just never stayed in a room without a window.
Location was fantastic super easy to get to from the train and super easy to walk to the main part of Sapporo as well as the ice festival. Hotel was gorgeous. Room was comfy. Onsen was stunning. I never ate at the hotel restaurant, but it smelled amazing from the lobby.

AustraliaThe onsen downstairs is AMAZING. Beautiful hotel and very well located. Easy access to the station for tour departures and a shopping mall only a few minutes walk away. An easy walk downtown for dinners. The view over the park is lovely, we sat watching snow fall out the window over the park for hours, so lovely. The room was spacious, comfortable and stylish. We loved the bathroom setup and the shower products smell heavenly. It felt like a spa retreat. Will absolutely stay here again!

We stayed for 11 nights around 2024 Xmas. Location was fantastic! Room space was not exactly big but was very well designed and offered almost all things/ functions needed. We booked 2 rooms and hotel staff managed to give us 2 rooms next to each other. Public bath was also very comfy.
