Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong KongThe room is small for two people. There is little space for desk work. It will be kind to guests if bottled water is provided to them finding their way to the hotel inn hot summer weather.
Breakfast is okay, decent and filling, but it is not Japanese breakfast. Guests can take away their breakfast because it is 'portable'. Presumably, they have their breakfast in their room. The room is clean.

New ZealandThe hotel was very close to the station, but it was in a bit of a random location — on the opposite side of the train tracks to the rest of the main city area. It wasn't a problem for us though, as everything was <15 min walk away.
Short walk to Nagoya Station, lots of restaurants, konbini, and supermarket nearby. The room was small but very comfortable. The room had a small table/desk, plus fast wi-fi, making it a perfect spot for remote working. The washing machine/dryer and vending machine in the hotel were very handy (you could even check the status of the washing machine on the TV in the room!). The staff were friendly, including great cleaners who left the room spotless.

SingaporeNone.
Very near to Nagoya Station, about 5 minutes if walked by the back way (through JR Nagoya), even if you use Kintetsu Rail. Supermarket in the area if you are on a budget and want to get bento from there instead of eating at the train station.

SingaporeThere is no sheltered walk path or underground walk path connected to the Nagoya train station. It gets a bit inconvenient when it rains. However, you can borrow an umbrella from the front desk.
The hotel seems relatively new and is quite modern. The room (for 3 guests) that we have gotten is quite spacious and clean. The hotel is about a 5 to 7 mins walk to the Nagoya train station. The check-in and check out process is very simple and easy (self service). The staff at the front desk are also very friendly and nice. There is also a Family Mart (similar to 7-11) nearby to the hotel. The hotel has a coin laundromat and vending machine.

Hong Kong1. If not familiar with the roads, need to spend some time to search around the hotel. The first time I stayed here, I spent 20 minutes to locate the hotel even though I had done a search with google map before 2. Cash is not accepted. Different exchange rate may bring big variance. My case is a difference of 7% more. I merely wanted to leave my credit card at home
1. Close to the train station. Since this is the second times I stayed in this hotel in the same trip, I know the roads well enough to locate the hotel easily. It is around a 10-minute walk from the train station. 2. Luggage keeping system is quite modern. I was given a card to unlock the luggage on my own. There is no way to mess up with other luggage. 3. Cozy room with good sound proof. Comfortable bed with clean environment.

SingaporeThe room is really small, and there is no space for anything bigger than cabin size luggage. There is also no daily room cleaning service, so if you pack dinner back, the trash will have to stay with you till the next room cleaning day (i.e. 3rd day of your stay).
The room was very clean, and all the basic amenities were provided. It is also very near the main nagoya train station, so it's easy to travel around.
