Tomomisan and Sanggyunsan are an incredibly friendly and caring couple. We had a really nice time, you can do a lot of different things and easily spend several days at this exceptional place. You can do hiking, snorkeling, star watching, boat cruises or just having a good time at the accommodation, in the garden or at the roof-top. There is a fully equipped kitchen and everything you need. Our hosts showed us many places and we enjoyed their unobtrusive, smart, but warm-hearted company a lot. Thank you:)!

Everything is perfect, really!

The owners are the nicest people ever, they helped us with car rental issues, with booking programs, recommended nice places to visit and suggested the best local restaurant, called Hama! The place is wonderful, brand new, super clean, perfectly equipped, comfy beds, nice kitchen and an awesome rooftop terrace. You need a car in Ishigaki anyways, so the location with car is perfect, away from the touristy city in a quiet lovely area, few minutes drive from Kabira bay and the secluded beaches! A well maintained garden with patio, sea shell decorations and a passion fruit tree:) Absolutely recommend the place!

It was a pleasure to come back again in this charming guesthouse. Location is perfect if you have a car and want to explore North and west of ishigaki. Hosts are welcoming and helped us with Booking local restaurant and finding good café.

No negative things, it was great.

A lovely, very well set-up guesthouse with roof terrace and garden. Lovely views and close to places to visit whilst being in a village in beautiful countryside. Close to main areas of Kabira Bay and its restaurants, good to access any part of Ishigaki including the North and the town further down the island. Very comfortable beds. Well set-up kitchen which was great to use for snacks and some self-catering, also bathrooms and laundry excellent. My hosts are lovely people who showed me local beaches and food delicacies, along with being extremely kind and welcoming. A really nice place and stay, I hope I can come back!

Tomomi & Sanggyun are so kind and helpful as hosts. We had the chance to visit the most beautiful Ishigaki places with them (including fireflies by night in the wild forest, such an experience) as well as eating food specialties. The place is so lovely and quiet with an amazing view of the sea. The location is perfect to visit Ishigaki Island. So bad that we can't give more than 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They treated us like family, sharing fruits and vegetables from their garden and even gave us a ride to town when we couldn’t find a taxi. The place is beautiful and clean too, with gorgeous views of the ocean. We will definitely be coming back!

I have nothing to complain about.

Staying at Soyotabi was amazing. The room and shared spaces were very clean and in a good standard. The have really nice outdoor areas where you can relax and watch the beautiful nature of Ishigaki. If you have a car, the location is very good with a lot of beaches and things to do a short drive away. The owners were lovely and welcoming and made our stay at Ishigaki much better.

Beautiful interior, all amenities and facilites were great quality. The hosts were very welcoming and accomodating! The location is a few minutes walk from a bus stop so even without a car you can explore the island! There was a terrace with the view of the sea- at night with good weather you can see the stars beautifully. Very homely and comfortable guest house!
