Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesMr. Yoshida, the owner, is the best host at a very comfortable hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that he brought to our room the most delicious melon fruit that we all enjoyed. He was so kind to provide ramen and udon that we could make in the morning for breakfast. We will always remember our stay here thanks to the kindness and great hospitality of Mr Yoshida. We wish Mr Yoshida good health and hope to see him again sometime in the future.

It was beyond my expectation. I really loved this place. There are lot of facilities and fun to enjoy the stay. The owner is very much kind. He provided us some snacks (cup noodles) which was free. Moreover he has cleaned all the snow from my car in the morning. Thank you very much

JapanThe man who runs the place was incredibly kind and accommodating. On our last day he even offered to take us to our train station. The whole apartment was spacious, warm and clean!

GermanyIf you don't have a car it can be a hassle to get to the city center, but since the owner kindly drove us it wasn't an issue for me personally.
Cozy place to stay in Sapporo. The owner is the kindest person who supplied us with cup noodles, drinks and tangerines during our stay. He also offered to drive us around and went out of his way to pick us up from the station every day. He even drove us to the snow festival in the evening since it looks nicer at night and we were leaving early the next morning. The apartment itself is very suitable for a family or group of friends as it is quite large for japanese standards. The beds are comfortable and the kotatsu is great, especially in winter. I loved my stay here and would come back anytime.

TaiwanOnly one bathroom.
The owner is very very friendly! He offered fruit, instant noodle and cool drinks when we checked in. The rooms were nice and warm, the owner got worried that we might get cold, he prepared many things to make sure we stay warm. Such as 3 layers of blankets! And some charging portable heater. The location is a bit far from the station but very nice if you drove. Has donkihote like 5 mins drive. Some restaurants within 5 mins drive.

MalaysiaGetting a cab is quite difficult in the area. Luckily, Yoshida-san offered to drive us to some places for a reasonable fee. If you don’t mind walking, the nearest train station is about 20 minutes away.
Booking.com needs to update that there is no longer breakfast provided in their package but other than that Yoshida-san went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The house was warm throughout the cold winter nights and it had all the facilities we needed.

NetherlandsThere is no kitchen, but other than that it has everything you need. Also it is a bit out of the city centre.
Very nice and helpful host. Made us feel very welcome and even gave us some food! The rooms were very warm, which was great in the cold winter of Hokkaido.

JapanAlmost everything was great but I was missing the kitchen area. However they provided Cassette gas stove and it fulfilled our requirement. Apart from this, there is nothing that you do not like.
I like cleanliness, quietness, facilities, breakfast and most of the places are very close like, Bus stop, Laundry, Indian/Japanese Restaurant, Dominos, Pizza Hut, 7/11 and etc. Communication was very good. In every room, heater was installed. 3 families can stay there easily. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

PanamaThe place was very nasty, the pillows had yellow spots on it, the bathroom was very nasty and it smelled awful, the sink had trash on it left by other guests that led me belief that the house was not cleaned throughly before I arrived to the place, the toilet also smelled awful and when I send a message to the owner about this concerns about the place he didn’t respond.
The only thing that I liked about the place was that it gave me the feeling that I was at home and the owner of the place came to the station to pick us up.

SingaporeThis was built in 50's~60's , so only 1 toilet and 1 shower room in whole apartment, both separated. So don't expect modern design accommodation.
Owner is friendly, he willingly helped with luggages to the apartments.
