Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaRooms felt a bit small, but it's expected. The full table might have been too big for the size of the room, half size might have made it feel like it had more space
The location was really convenient and there were lots of little touches that were extra and not expected, like the cocktail bar experience and choosing your own pillow

A PERFECTLY designed little room that was exactly what I was looking for. A comfortable bed with a small couch (that could convert into an additional futon I believe?) and a little side table that was perfectly proportional. A microwave, fridge and a typical Japanese shower tub completed the picture. The public bath was a selling point for me and I took full advantage of it's small but lovely setup. Really enjoyed the updated entertainment system that allowed me to log in to Netflix to relax (this was the last night of my trip and I was worn out and not interested in maximizing my time out of the room beyond grabbing dinner and doing a little shopping in nearby Dontonburi). Drinks and snacks in the lobby each evening were a lovely touch. They also offered a breakfast for an additional fee - I didn't take advantage of it but it looked great from what I saw. This is a pretty large chain of hotels and for short solo stays this would easily win over the few other similar styled ones I stayed at during my trip. Contactless checkout and friendly staff.

MalaysiaIts worth noting that the hotel is a bit of a walk from the nearest metro station. For those carrying large luggage, the distance might be slightly inconvenient but manageable.
The Super Hotel Premier Namba Shinsaibashi Natural Hot Spring offers an excellent blend of location, comfort, and unique amenities, making it a great option for travelers visiting Osaka. Situated close to major attractions, it allows guests to explore the bustling streets of Namba and Shinsaibashi with ease. The room size is typical of Japanese city hotels — compact but functional. While space may feel limited, the thoughtful design ensures that essential needs are met. For those used to larger hotel rooms, it might feel a bit tight, but it aligns with expectations for city stays in Japan. One of the standout features of this hotel is the onsen (natural hot spring) available to guests. This is a fantastic way to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. The experience adds a touch of relaxation and traditional Japanese culture to the stay, making it a memorable highlight. Another notable perk is the complimentary drinks available to hotel guests from 6-8 pm daily. This thoughtful touch adds extra value to the stay and provides a perfect opportunity to relax before heading out for dinner or nightlife. Overall, the Super Hotel Premier Namba Shinsaibashi Natural Hot Spring stands out for its prime location, soothing onsen experience, and thoughtful guest perks. While the distance from the metro may require some extra effort, the overall value, comfort, and convenience make it a worthwhile choice for those visiting Osaka.

CanadaTried to get a coffee in the restaurant in the morning and was told that I could not because I did not sign up for breakfast. I didn’t want to eat. Pretty poor when a hotel cannot offer a guest a coffee in the morning from a machine nonetheless!
Good location. Free cocktail bar every evening from 5-8 pm The onsen to soak in after a day of touring and shopping!

Hong KongBeing environmentally friendly is a great thing, but when it's high summer and your corridors are not air-conditioned, not even fan ventilated, then that's a bit of excess for someone hoping to travel for leisure.
Location of the hotel is close enough to be convenient but far enough to not be a nuisance or raising the price. Equipment in the room was sufficient and everything was in order.

NetherlandsA standard room is good for a couple, but might be tight in space if you are not used to be close with each other. There are bigger rooms available though!
Very good hotel! Near Dotonbori and many foodplaces, but further from Osaka centre. The metro is near, so that wasn’t a big problem. Even a familymart across the street. Friendly staff and possibility to store our luggage as well at the end. The hotelroom is cosy, like most hotels with the basic facilities. You can choose your own pillow downstairs (first come, first served though) and complementary beauty samples. The onsen was a nice feature. Our toilet was leaking a bit on the floor and they moved us to another hotelroom without a problem. From 17-20u there is possiblity to get a free drink from their bar downstairs, we only used it once though since the time frame was not in our favour.

AustraliaNot much I'd complain about for a business hotel. Location was pretty great for Dotombori or if you'd like to visit Americatown. However, I would warn families with curious children that there were multiple adult entertainment establishments nearby and it did feel a tad seedy, might wish to be careful or vigilant. Was pretty funny explaining the signboards to my travelling companion though.
Loved the onsen, was great having that to return to in the evening to soak away the day's fatigue. Staff were very nice and helpful, and the ability to borrow a better (possibly) pillow for the stay was nice. During booking Free Hotel WiFi was not listed, however pleasantly surprised to see the hotel did in fact have free WiFi. Welcome Bar was awesome.

AustraliaThere was only 1 elevator so getting up and down sometimes took a long time.
The hotel was located close to Dotonbori which made late night exploring very easy. Using a pin instead of key cards to access rooms was great - no more forgetting cards. Welcome drinks from 5-8 was great.

IndonesiaProbably the size of the room, but in Japan, we can't really bother about that.
The breakfast was simple but comforting, the soup was delicious and there is also salad and bread. Check-in was a good experience, staff speaking English quiet fluent and she managed to get us additional bed with reasonable price (because I was travelling with little kid and didn't realise that only booked for two persons), turned out better with the additional bed. Even though the room is too small, but they also have Onsen facility that we had really like. And it's also 5 mins walk to Dotonburi.
