Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaRather than staying in Hiroshima, I decided to stay here and branch out to do day trips. It turned out to be a good decision as this hotel is really close to the railway station. Easy to do day trips to all the surrounding areas. And the hotel onsen was a fantastic place to come back to and relax at night. If I was to give some constructive criticism, I would suggest maybe having the breakfast last a little later than 8:30 AM. People who are not early risers won’t be able to have the breakfast. And as per most hotels in Japan, the room is very small so you don’t really have a place to unpack your bag, but it is what it is.

United KingdomThere is only one lift for around 10 floors of hotel, it is a small lift and every time that we used it, it would stop around 3 or 4 times due to guests going to reception floors, spa floors etc which are all on diffrent floors
The free breakfast included in the room rate was excellent and plentiful with staff offering excellent service. Furthermore the front desk staff were helpful too after booking us into the wrong room accidentally.

TaiwanShower in the room was small. Just pointing out, not complaining.
Value of this hotel definitely! For its price, one cannot fathom how they still manage to operate with profit. Upon check-in, staff member was extremely thorough with what they had to offer at the facility, doing his best to make sure we wouldn't miss a thing or get disoriented. Included breakfast exceeded our expectation for a meal that didn't require additional cost. There was even natural hot spring in the facility that was open throughout the night. We used the hot spring before coming down for breakfast, which made us on cloud 9 before leaving early for the rabbit island!

South KoreaThe hotel's location is within 5 minutes of an easy walk from the Shinkansen station, and right next to the ferry port. There are numerous cozy little restaurants and bars in the area, as well as a large shopping mall. The staff was very cordial, and I always enjoy their bath/sauna. With the yen weak as it is now, the price is a great value for money, and there's even breakfast included in the price. Overall, a great experience.

AustraliaHard pillow, dunno why most hotel I stayed this trip.has this recycled rubber pellet / tubes as pillow filler. (They were use to be some sort of seeds (sobakawa). Though they have option for other pillow types, they are on 1st come 1st serve basis. When we arrive at 7pm they were none. Only 1 hard bolster pillow on the double bed. Small tub, small and crowded onsen (I would say 6 max that will fit without bumping elbows)
Location from Mihara station ~5min walk, ~10min to Aeom mall , - 30min train to Ferry to Rabbit Island (M-F). But 5min to ferry during weekends. breakfast is included.

Hong KongSuper Hotels is my 1st choice of hotels in Japan. They have evening cocktails from 6 to 9pm. All others I have stayed at have free flow wines and spirits, this property only grudgingly allow one drink and even then it was only a choice of a small beer, small high ball, or soft drink.

SingaporeHard to open luggage as there was no space. However, that is expected of the hotel.
Connecting rooms. Bed is big and comfortable. There is an onsen but it is a bit small. Lucky when I was there, nobody else was using it.

AustraliaNothing really, suited us fine.
Stayed here to be close to the Mihara port for a day trip. Convenient location. The bed was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty, but a little crowded because it was the weekend. Overall I’d be happy to stay here again. Also you get a free beer on arrival!

AustraliaThe hotel does not specify clearly on booking site that the rooms are smoking or non-smoking. So we arrived only to find out that all non- smoking rooms were occuppied and we have apparently booked a smoking room (in the smallest print somewhere says 'Smoking permitted'). So we had to stay a night in a very smelly room. But then the staff did their best to accommodate us the next night, which was nice.
The staff and their kindness were outstanding. They did everything they could to accommodate us, and we felt very welcome. The breakfast was good and the use of onsen too.

AustraliaNot much, it's a business hotel so you get what you pay for.... if I'm being picky, there's only one elevator and it can get kinda busy at check out times.
Clean hotel with excellent staff. The rooms aren't big, but it's a business hotel. Great location for grabbing the ferry to rabbit island as it's just across the road. Don't forget happy hour between 4-6pm, all you can drink for ¥1000.

JapanThe room was quite narrower than expected, despite being used to Japanese business hotel room standards. Breakfast options are not aplenty but filling nonetheless.
Options for pillow types and other amenities are available, albeit it runs out early during check-in hours. The room was relatively clean. The public bath was small but the water temperature was just right.
