Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanThe dinner was really expensive for the quality and options on the buffet table. 5500JPY for adults is quite a price... 1 dinner for 5 adults and 1 kid cost the same as how much it cost to stay overnight in 2 rooms. Also, it was mentioned on the website that the cribs were free of charge, but infact when I requested a crib, they told me it was 2200JPY per night so I had to cancel it for my 1 and 0 year old babies. It would have been extra 4400JPY for 2 cribs...
The outdoor facility to play was excellent-- even wish we had more time there. We were able to bring our own fire works kit and use it at night, the lifts were great, the outside play area for kids were great fun. The lunch was a reasonable price for 1800JPY for adults and 500JPY for kids for stayed overnight.

SingaporeThe cost of a meal at the restuarant was very expensive for both dinner and breakfast. Given it was off season and there was hardly any guest at resort, they should consider a lower cost.
It is a ski resort and we were assigned a room facing the ski field though there was no snow anymore as ski season has ended but the whole envirnoment was very nice and peaceful. The hot bath was closed but they gave us access in the hotel next to it which was adjoining building and it was a beautiful and relaxing bath.

AustraliaThe food in ZigZag for dinner is really expensive for a buffet style cafeteria food - 5500 yen per person. There is really only one other dinner option that is a little cheaper in the soba noodle restaurant.
Rooms were in big and really comfortable.Fantastic view right up the groomers. Family of 4 with two large teenage boys and we all slept really well in a 2xtwin + 2xsofa bed single room. We could have stayed a lot longer. So easy getting onto great snow each day. Lift tickets are really cheap when booked in the accommodation. The onsen is amazing. As international guests we really loved feeling like we were in a more Japanese resort with few foreign tourists. And the Tangram/Madarao area has so much good snow to explore.

JapanSmall onsen for so many hotel and ski resort guests. Practically only one place for lunch and dinner. There are no playrooms or areas for children.
Comfortable rooms for ski holidays. Access to the ski slope directly from the hotel. There is a swimming pool and an onsen in the hotel, right in one place. Everything is equipped and thought out for skiers and snowboarders, equipment rental, shops and lockers for ski equipment.

Japanthe only downside is there are few resto and its fully booked. so we have to buy rice and canned goods in the smart store. which has few option and few stocks left. or else will starve. so it is best to just get a dinner buffet. but after an entire day of skiing, we have no energy left to eat a lot downstairs so we opt for room dining.
The location of the property is convenient. they have free bus from and to Nagano station. though on our way to the hotel we have to wait in Kurohime for an hour since we arrived early.te buffet breakfast is superb too. staff friendly.

JapanThe beds are super hard and the restaurants were quite expensive.
This property is great value for the money. Love being able to ski in/out and there were plenty of restaurants and relaxation areas. The onsen is amazing with indoor/outdoor areas. Being able to sit in the outdoor onsen and watch the snow fall was magical.
