The hotel is next to a river which gives you a nice view. Unfortunately there's a busy highway right next to the river and the hotel. Although the hotel is very soundproof, at night you will hear the highway if your room is facing the river. We had to use earplugs to sleep. The second time we asked for a room on the opposite side and it was perfectly quiet. Despite the noise issue on one side, this is an excellent hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed twice at this hotel, but in different room size types. First we had one of the larger ones (about 35 m2). It was very spacious, equipped with everything you need, very clean and everything was in perfect conditon. The second time we had a standard room (about 25 m2) which has a good layout and is big enough. The hotel is well located close to Ryogoku station. There are some restaurants nearby, but you might want to go to Akihabara, Ueno or futher for finer dining.

The policy that you could leave the luggage only for that day. We had a 1-day trip to Kyoto and they refused to keep our luggage.

The restaurant was rather expensive in the evenings, however all the food was delicious and breakfast was well worth the cost. The top floor area felt like a bit of a waste, but we went out of season so it was a bit cold and probably better in the summer sun.

Clean and modern hotel just a few stops on the metro away from significant tourist landmarks, and less than 100m from a metro station. Staff spoke english and were fantastic, rooms we well appointed and cleaned extremely well.

It was a bit further from the city then we hoped, however ended up enjoying the quiet and peaceful nature of the area.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was incredible and roof top bar was so romantic. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this hotel!!

The thing to keep in mind about the location is that it's still a bit of a walk to get to the popular Asakusa neighborhood, and while there are plenty of restaurants/bars within walking distance, they're a bit of a walk (in other words, the hotel isn't right on a street with a lot of options next door) -- BUT, it's a lovely scenic walk along the river.

This hotel was great! Big rooms (by Japanese hotel standards), very clean and modern-looking, plenty of amenities, and attentive staff. The breakfast was quite impressive, with both Western and Japanese cuisine options (shout out to having an entire honey comb available for your toast!). The location offers lovely views of the river, and it's super close to the train station. We thought it was a fabulous stay and a great value -- we'd certainly stay here again and would highly recommend it, especially if you're looking to do activities on the east side of the city (like watching sumo, exploring Asakusa, or going to Disneyland).
