Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Style. Modern contemporary artsy boutique hotel, once Japan’s first TV tower, now turned restaurants/hotel by FHAMS design studio Setting. Nagoya Central Park. 40 min from Chubu airport or 18 min from Nagoya airport Explore. Hotel location was perfect for exploring the neighborhood shops, burgeoning local food scene, music festivals and outdoor events. I only wish I got to stay one more night Rooms. Only 15 rooms, one of which is used for art exhibitions. I was in room 3. As I had an extremely stressful week so it was super healing to have this little mini escape @ the hotel. Amazing vibe, kind staff and service, Kano Morishita and the rest of the team were delivering service really @ the level of the Aman hotels. Taxis are not allowed to stop in front of the hotel, but the staff always walked me to the taxi to make sure I got on the right one. Private sky deck access late at night and early morning via a hidden entrance, plenty of cool art work and installations including Yoshitomo Nara’s work. Food & drinks. Hotel has 3 restaurants and is very popular for special occasions, the night I was here there were two wedding parties. They are tons of food options near by and the hotel also helped book good restaurants Prices. $595 Rating. 5/5 definitely hope to revisit !

AustraliaNothing.
Beautiful unique hotel in the Nagoya tv tower with exceptional service. The welcome sweets and the breakfast were delicious. We didn't try the private access to the tower (hours were 10pm-midnight and 530am-730am while we were there) but our room was very spacious with an amazing view anyway. To top it off, there was easy access to the subway and plenty of great restaurants nearby.

United StatesThe hotel was a very unique and modern design, art everywhere, and really thoughtful details throughout. The location was terrific and the park around has a lot of amenities like restaurant, coffee shops, and great places to hang out. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. “Japanese breakfast” was our first in Japan and was delicious and challenging and an adventure everyday.

WOW. This was a superior experience from start to finish. Rooms were art, welcome goodies gorgeous and delicious. Do yourself a favour and indulge in breakfast (behind the hidden door!!!) -- you honestly won't find a better one in the entire country. This is one of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed in.

JapanAccess by car is not recommended, can't even park nearby. Also rooms are often quite compact without a bathtub.
To stay in one of the most iconic building in Nagoya is something you cannot put a price on and the view of the sunrise from the tower which only whom stayed at the hotel is "special". It also is a hotel which provides very nice breakfast using local ingredients.

United StatesThe shade is not closed tightly at both ends, so the room is a bit bright for me in early mornings.
The fact that I stayed a few nights on a TV tower turned hotel was fascinating. The location is perfect, the hotel is artsy and fun, full of surprises with its secret entrances for elevator to the top of the tower, and to the restaurant. My patio was super neat for inviting a few friends up for a drink. The staff members at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and will definitely stay here again.

United StatesWe wish we had been better prepared for our trip to the observatory at night. We didn't bring any money for the gachopon. We've also been collecting stamps at the JR and subway stations and the tower had a stamp that we didn't know about. Rather than allow us up through their secret entrance, we had to go the round about way to enter through the ground. They initially said they'd charge us but decided last minute to waive the fee for the second trip.
Breakfast was phenomenal. You really can't get better than the assortment and care they give with the menu. Everything is seasonal and sourced locally.

SingaporeWhile hotel decoration is modern and contemporary , the color theme is a tad dark. The layout of amenities in the room is not well thought for one of the room.
Location is good, staff is friendly and generally has a good command of English.

AustraliaNot a single fault.
Everything about our stay at The Tower Hotel Nagoya was absolutely exceptional!! Never stayed in a more fantastic hotel in my life - the staff were the standout at this property as they were so genuinely kind, welcoming and helpful. The welcome drinks + desserts were so special and lovely, I left a small thank you note mentioning which ones our favourites were and they brought more of those favourites the next day?!?! so unexpected and lovely. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL, such a wonderful experience to have while we looked out over the city. The rooms were fantastic and super spacious (my partner especially liked how comfy the pyjamas were), super comfortable beds too! We’ll definitely be coming back!!!
