Hong Kongalways like Dormy Inn brand, and their Onyado Nono line is always something special to me. it's a budget way to experience traditional onzen alike accommodation. The location is ok to me, a bit of a walk from the train station but totally manageable. can actually take the metro for one stop then exit in front of the hotel too.

SingaporeIt's a return stay for us. The hot spring opens from 3pm throughout the night till 10am, very nice to relax. There are even free ice lollies at night and free yakult in the morning. The flexibility to extend checkout for a reasonable fee is very helpful too. Location is perfect, 10-15min walk to Sendai station and several restaurants, cafes and the famous Mitsukoshi store in the neighbourhood. Staff can speak english and are very helpful. We had a good rest before a long flight home, thank you!

New ZealandNot much - it was expensive! And I don't like paying a lot for hotels... But it was very comfortable. We didn't bother with breakfast - that seemed prohibitively expensive (close to ¥10,000 for a family of four is a lot in Japan where you can get a decent morning set for ¥750)

AustraliaThis is not a complaint, just an observation, the kettle seems to take ages to boil. Everything was really great at this hotel, and it will not disappoint if you are wanting something more traditional Japanese.
The room and whole hotel were fantastic. I was a little skeptical if I would use the spa and the sauna, I did, and it was great. The spa and sauna do get busy at times, mainly early evening, so checking how busy it is on the room TV before going up to the spa is recommended.

The hotel was exceptional as expected, The floor was clean and we can only walk bare foot around the building. The quality of the food (breakfast and noodles) were very good and totally worth it. There were a lot of high quality food available for breakfast. The public bath was small but there were all the facilities needed. The sauna and cold water bath were perfect after a long day of travel. The rooms were larger that expected and could fit two fully opened large luggages easily. The rooms were cozy and the single beds were very large and comfortable. It was near the Sendai station and the large shopping street so it was very convenient. One of the best hotel chain and will definitely book this chain of hotel when it is available.
